I've heard several people say that since they started a certain birth control that they've noticed an increase in breast size. Is this possible, or myth? And also, is it just that the method of b.c. makes them gain weight, hence bigger boobs? In any case, has anyone noticed a difference? And if so, what kind of birth control is it?

The side effects of birth control are experienced in different degrees and different ways in individuals. The only way to know how it will affect you is by taking it.

Increased breast size is a common side effect. Generally, birth control pills have 2 female hormones: estrogen and progesterone. I believe it is the estrogen that can make the user's breasts tender or sensitive, as well as make them slightly bigger.

Again, the side effects will vary on an individual basis...but speaking from experience, I was lucky to not gain any significant weight (maybe like, 2 pounds), AND have a noticable increase in breast size within the first few months of taking Ortho tri-cyclen. There is also a generic form called Tri-Sprintec that is essentially the same thing.

I don't know if birth control does but I have heard if u rub ur chest and squeeze them they'll grow faster. But ur only 14, so don't worry much. I'm 13 and I'm only a B. They will probly get there full size at 18. Just curious, but why do u use birth control? I have had people in my family that took it because they got really bad periods( I get them too and I might need to go on it) do u have that problem or something like that? Back to he point, I hope I helped

I took Estrostep and "grew" a whole bust and a half size..... I also put on another 10-15 lbs though.... it's not necessarily the birth control, but the estrogen IN the birth control that makes those changes occur. estrogen is tricking your body into thinking that you're already pregnant... when your body's pregnant it needs to *grow* to support the pending birth of your child... so... anyway... if you have alot of estrogen already in your system and you take birth control, chances are good your boobs will grow. Just be careful, I had too much estrogen in my system with birth control and had to quit taking the pills... it gave me hormonal imbalances

in those cases, it is just a temperary surge of hormones, or it is due to weight gain from the birth control, there are no specific pills that will produce larger breasts...
