...the Sunday after my period starts. That would be fine if I actually got normal periods. They're normal in the fact that they come ever three months. I just had my last period on Feb. 19. Would it be safe to start now or should I just wait till my next period?

I believe you can begin taking the pill at anytime during your cycle. However, you should use another method of birth control (e.g., a condom) for seven days before the pill is effective at preventing pregnancy. I would start this Sunday. I had the same problem as you and my gyn. told me to start taking them that next Sunday. The point, I am guessing, is to get your periods regulated. You should be able to start having regular periods right after you start your first pack.
