So, I just found out I was pregnant w/ HPT tests, I was a few days late so took four of them and all were positive, then I got my period...and when I say period, it's a normal period -like flow?? What is up w/ this, I heard this happens, has anyone experienced this...it's not like my usual period w/ cramps and stuff, but it kind of scared me, I have a docs appointment soon...

You could be having a miscarriage if the flow is as heavy as a normal period. If the bleeding increases or continues beyond your normal period time frame, you may need a D&C. The fact that you aren't having cramps leads me to believe that it could be a miscarriage. That's what happened to me. I'd call the doc office again and see if they will do an ultrasound, or at least tell them what's going on.
Good luck!

I had that happen early in my first pregnancy, you may need to see the doctor, some meds they can give may help. I ended up miscarring in my third month. However how little solice it is it does not meen that there is anything wrong with you! (I have since had three successful births) My mother had her period right through to the fifth month with my sis, could just be normal for you

It happened to me as well and it is normal. When you go to the doctor they will more than likely do an ultra sound to make sure it isn't abruptio placenta. Which I had with my second child. Do not use tampons!! Only a sanitary pad. Keep an eye on yourself to make sure the flow doesn't get heavier and that you don't start having any new symptoms.

Many woman bleed early in pregnancy for one reason or another. Call the Dr and tell them what is going on and they can give you better advice then anyone on here can.

All I have to say is that if you have an actual menstrual period while you are pregnant, you are not pregnant anymore.
