Recently my periods have been strange.....i will come on but 4 the 1st few days its rly light and brown colour then i seem to start properly. has anyone else experienced this?

"Brown colored period usually means nothing more than just what it is; brown colored period. Sometimes color can change from beginning to end (or during) period depending on your own flow. Much of the time the 'brown' color will come at the beginning or end of your cycle while the color may be darker and/or brighter during. Usually these colorings are absolutely normal and not a cause for concern. If you are worried in any way, see your doctor who will likely assure you that you are perfectly normal."

Although I've had no experience but I would like you to look into getting a pap smear to rule out any infections. You'd also get a pregnancy test and she'd/ he'd ask you various questions like last period, sex partners, or if you are currently on a form of birth control pill. It could all mean nothing but I recommend you visit your GYN. Good Luck

I have also experienced what you have. I thought something was wrong but I was perfectly okay. It does that because that is how it starts, it the spotting before your period comes. Don't worry you are okay.
