You may have been too late when you finally took the ECP, it's not a guaranteed way to prevent pregnancy. If the condom had a small pin hole in it that could have done it or if he didn't pull out in time. There could be various reasons. But, to rest your thoughts, the baby will be just fine. Researchers have found that birth control rarely affects the development of a child, especially in the early stages of development. So I hope you two decide to keep it, I'm not sure how you're feeling about it but...congratulations!
Warm wishes!
I work in a medical research facility.

Sweetie, nothing is ever 100%...not even sex. At this point you shouldn't worry about what happened, you should be worrying about what you going to do for the future. No matter what you did at the time of conception, the baby is going to be fine...it hasn't had time to develop yet. You should concentrate on keeping yourself healthy and lay off anything that is going to cause you stress...like this worrying over what COULD have happened...it happened, so go from there. Having a baby is a blessing! Good Luck!

Well, dont try to end a pregnancy cause of an accident. The baby is not at fault for an accident. It is your fault for being careless. Use a condom next time if you want to have sex.

I think you will have a baby when you are obviously not ready for it. Get some medical care, get some social services involved and find out what your options are. That baby is going to need an adult for a mother.

If he was wearing a condom it might have broke. The baby will turn out fine. You might need to talk to you mother or someone you can trust and ask what they think happened.

I think that I have no idea what the answer is to either of your questions but I think that you should really see a doctor and get some professional advice instead of asking people on this website.

What happened? you had sex and nothing is fool proof, now you will have a baby and your going to have to grow up real fast and take care of that innocent child or you will carry a scar for the rest of your life.
