Sorry, chlamydia is contracted through sexual intercourse, not by something as casual as a handshake or anything like that. Time to be honest with your spouse, because if he didn't cheat on you and give it to you and you did, then he has most likely contracted the disease through you. And if you didn't cheat, then the same is said for him. You need to let your partners know so that they can be tested and treated. Good luck!

Chlamydia is known as a "silent" disease because 75 percent of infected women and at least half of infected men have no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks of exposure. Symptoms, if any, might include an abnormal vaginal discharge or a burning sensation when urinating. The infection is often not diagnosed or treated until there are complications.

The infection first attacks the cervix and urethra. Even if the infection spreads from the cervix to the uterus and fallopian tubes, some women may still have no signs or symptoms. If you do have symptoms, you might have lower abdominal pain, low back pain, nausea, fever, pain during sex, and bleeding between menstrual periods.

Men with symptoms might have a discharge from the penis and a burning sensation when urinating. Men might also have burning and itching around the opening of the penis or pain and swelling in the testicles, or both. The bacteria also can infect the throat from oral sexual contact with an infected partner.

Like most bacterial infections, taking oregano oil has been found to help dramatically. It is curable if treated quickly. Dont waste any time treating yourself with either oregano oil or the usual drug doctors prescribe!!

PS: It is a certain kind of bacteria, make sure that this was found to be so with the clinical test.

clamidia is very normal and most women notice it before men do. its possible to have it for quite some time bofore you actually know about it, if you really have questions on where it came from chat with the hubby and get him to the DR. aswell. it's a matter of a week or two of antibotics no big deal it hurts more emotionally than physcially. Good luck
