I've tried so hard to fight the urge but it just comes and then I give in. It's not so much the picking anymore but the checking to see if it's ok. I wear socks, slippers, shoes etc but no luck I just end up taking them off and picking/checking instead.

I check them because after I do an activity e.g playing football I have to check and see if the nail is ok and not damaged. lso after if I've tripped on a gap in the floor been crouching with my feet pointed inward etc. I know this sounds stupid but I just want to stop! I've tried websites etc but nothing is helping. Please help!!!!

I am at work today but in the office downstairs they are painting and staining and it's really stinking up the whole building and frankly making me feel sick when I am already sensitive to fumes, I feel like a baby asking to go home but I can't sit here and get sick? What should I do?

The day after new years is the first time this problem started. Everytime I would start to fall asleep I would notice that I stoped breathing or I was really shorty of breath. this happend all night untill one time i woke up and started freaking out. i could not take in a deep breath and my chest felt really heavy. My mom took me to the emergancy room. The dr told me that part of the problem was that i was having an anxioity attack and my blood pressure was really high. They told me my breathing problem was pobably just an allergic reaction to something and gave me some medicine and an inhaler. I got better quick and didnt have anymore problems untill 2 nights ago i noticed myself stop breathing in my sleep again. ill wake up light headed and completely out of breath. if i sit up and take slow deep breaths it goes away also if i open my window and breath cold air it helps too. I want to know why is this happeneing and why is it when i fall asleep. please help if you can!

Pains in right front and side, severe constipation. Doc' sent me to hospital, where a polyp was removed from large bowel. Nurse said it would go for biopsy, but things seemed OK. Today I received a letter from the hospital, surgery dept', saying I have an appointment on April 5th. No idea why, so rang my surgery and was told my doc' needed to discuss this with me. 1st available appointment is one week away. This happened to anyone else, and what were your results? Thanks a lot for your time.

Sometimes at night when, I am in bed, I may rub my eyes and I notice I can "see" weird shapes or symetrical patterns, like a kaleidoscope.

Has anyone ever notice this? What is this phenomenia called? I have had this all of my life.
