what do people mean by a numb face. is it the numbing snesation where is it tingling cold and you cant realy feel that much, like when you lose circulation from sitting on your foot??

or is it numbing as in your nose is so numb from it that if someone were to stick a nail through it you wouldnt even know someone is touching you?

For the last 3 years or so, I have been having a series of symptoms inculding: .
1. Massive unbearable pain in back and hips due to spasticity and rigidity.
2. Overall fatigue, get more tired with simple activity. Light exercise leaves me incapacitated and exasperates my muscle spasms.
3. Uncontrolled jerking of arms and legs.
4. Migraines.
5. Unable to bend down and difficulty standing up.
6. Difficulty walking due to hip spasm and pain.
7. Electrical surge feeling in back and hip muscles along with prickling pain.
8. Increased lack of coordination in the hands and feet.
9. Constant feeling of instability when standing or walking

Does any one know much about neuromuscular conditions to give me a place to start?? I have been refered to rehabilitation medicine....

Got any ideas???

I have two years nursing home experience but I just quit my job and i'm looking to work in a hospital. I've applied to many but should I call and check on my application or do they not appreciate or like that very well? Thanks

Today i wasn't feeling good all day but i went to school on the way home from school it was storming and then lightning flashed and then everything went black. my foot size changes. i am a size 8, but in the winter i can fit into my sister's size 6 shoes, but in the summer i can't. the smallest size i can wear in the summer is like a 7 1/2. my dad says that feet size never changes, but it does for me! why is that?

okay a few questions about birth control pills before i start em tommaro. okay for 1. do u gain weight? 2. i heard your boobs get bigger...is that tru? if any of thats true when will it start occuring when taking it?

I'm very sad to death that sometimes My tongue tastes sour and of course with a completely broken , bruised and torn up heart. I cry everyday and sleep on my wet pillow, Actually i find some difficulties in sleeping and i'm not eating well.

Anyone know any proven STAMMERING / STUTTERING programs/equipment/etc. personally??

Please only include methods/equipment/tools/programs which you've had personal experience of personally or through a friend/family member - ie. not just seen an ad or heard it 'throught the grape vine'.

Also, how many people on here have a stammer? (any degree, even its maybe the odd words you 'replace' before you say them!)

my brother's girlfriend has some severe burns on her chest and arms that was caused by hot coffee. they've started to blister and swell, and i'm seriously freaking out especially since she's 5 months pregnant too.
We have no medical insurance, but the hopsital isn't an option anyways... my brother actually caused the burns cause she didn't make fresh perked coffee for him... he threw the entire pot all over her cause of it. he's got some outstanding warrants too, so he'll go to jail for sure if it's found out... both me and his girlfriend don't want him to go to jail. even though he gets drunk at night and is sometimes abusive to me, her and his kids, he's able to support us financially.
she forgave him for this incident, and we just want to fix it as soon as possible. I'm really worried for her, but i'm only a high schooler, so that's why i'm coming on here so hopefully someone can give us some burn treatment advice. :(

guys...my exam is fast approaching!!i can't concentrate!! i have no other reason why i can't-it's bothering me for almost one semester now!! i can't remember easily, can't memorize!!
