That's insane for you two to put up with this just because he supports you financially. You need to think of the kids and what's best for them If she wanted to get out she could and get him to pay child support and that would support ya'll financially. As far as the burns go. Even though the whole situation disgust me.........It sounds like second degree burns which will take at least 3 weeks to heal and you are going to have to make sure they do not get infected. If they start to ooze, smell, and is not healing, or has red streaks radiating away from the burn injury. See a physician immediately. She probably needs antibiotics.
She needs to soak the burn in cool water for 15 minutes.
Apply cool cloth to the burn for a few minutes each day
Apply Burn cream (you can get it at any drug store) to the burn and cover it with a dressing or bandage.
Re-apply burn with Burn cream to promote healing.
Apply topical antibiotic (like Neosporin) to the burn to prevent infection if necessary.
If necessary, take over-the-counter pain medication (Tylenol for her) to control pain.
If burn pain, redness, swelling persists or if there are signs of infection see a physician.

Oh God help you all, that is sooooooooooooo awfull for you. I agree with Sunflare6, herbal treatments are the way to go. Make sure you get the pure aloe vera gel, no added perfumes or chemicals and just keep it slapped on thick, constantly changing dressings. OMG u r sooooooo fine gal, u r soooo cool and organised. Good on you for doing something about it so quick. Go get her a Hair Skin ;and Nails supplement from the chemist as well, just ask the Pharmacist for advice on which brand is the best 2 buy for her. Don't forget to tell him she is pregnant and her age. She needs all the vitamin A, E, C, D and protein she can get at the moment. Vit A, E will be in the hair skin and nails tablets, Vitamin C is easy, citrus fruits, lemons, limes oranges, tomatoes, potatoes, capsicum, Vitamin D is either fish liver oil capsules - x 3 per day or plenty of sunshine. Go...... go now girl, get cracking and organise those tablets. Or better still get that rotten little turd who burnt to go be the little message boy, surely that's the least he can do.
PEACE & LOVE & ALL THAT

The reality of it is those burns can and probably already are on their way to becoming infected. Your brothers girlfriend can get really sick and could even lose the baby if she does not seek medical attention. By protecting your brother from his responsibilities (warrants) and actions (anger issues) your only creating a harsher environment for all the kids. Your brothers girl friend is a adult and has a choice on staying or not but the children do not and all you are doing is helping your brother and his girlfriend mess them up for life. Think about it and get her some professional help please

Get some aloe vera gel from the store, and if a nursury is around
buy the plant and put the plant right on the burn, instant relief.
U need to put garlic near the mean brother, throw some under his bed, he has an evil devil lurkin in the mind.
Be on guard, and just pray for him, dont take too much crap cause it could get worse.
Call an older brother, or someone to straighten this one out.
He needs an attiude adjustment fast or jail cell one.

She's needs to go to the emergency. Serious burns can cause stomach gastristis and stomach ulcers. The body is fighting the burns and is losing fluids. You need to give her those Ensure energy drinks for nutrition. She could lose her baby. She need a tetanus shot too for infection. She also needs a body wrap so she doesn't get scars. Just lie a and say it was an accident and go to the hospital already. The only burn cream is the one with silver in it. I forget the name. You need a prescription.

You might like to ask your doctor to prescribe something for you stomach like Previcid. It should help you with your stomach. As for the chest arm pain I would go to the Emergency and get checked out because you say that you are obese and it could be the sign of something worse than a panic attack. As for the Anxiety Attacks you can ask your doctor for something to control the anxiety. Don't mess around with the chest and arm pain because it could be something very serious. I would go to the Emergency room now. Good Luck

Neosporin and lots of it.
But, you may not want to hear this, but you need to take her to a doctor. You have no idea what those burns could be doing to the baby, meaning, if her body is trying to heal the burns, then it could be ignoring the baby. Also, I know he is your brother, but you need to turn him in. He has problems, not only the drinking, but the anger, and if he doesn't get help, he could kill his gf.

The only advice I have for your brother's girlfriend is the advice neither of you want to hear. Think about this one. After she's dead, will you think you should have asked for different advice? If you can't help him, for God's sake help her. All of you need to get away from him NOW!
