It depends.
It is good for you because when the bathroom steams up, you are inhaling the steam. The steam cleans out your clogged nose and allows you to sweat a little bit (we are all secretly sweating even when we don't feel it). Plus, the hot water makes your blood run faster, which also cleanses out your nose.
It is bad because the minute you walk out of there, you hit air that is a lot colder than in the bathroom. So you become extremely cold. No, this can't get you sick, but your body uses a lot of energy to keep yourself warm. So if you are freezing, your body's main priority is to keep warm. So you would be wasting energy. When you are sick, you want to conserve all your energy to get better.
So you CAN take a shower, just jump into a warm quilt the next second!

Good for you for working so hard for your daughter! I'm sorry you were sick though. You're doing the right thing by pumping to stimulate additional milk supply. I assume you are pumping between breastfeeding sessions, letting your daughter nurse first until she is completely done, then pumping for additional milk. Bring your baby to the breast often and let her nurse as long as she wants. All her sucking should be at the breast, so that means no pacifiers or bottles. (If you do need to supplement her feeding as you work on rebuilding your milk supply, there are other ways that a La Leche League Leader could tell you more about, such as using a cup or spoon or a Supplemental Nursing System, Lact-Aid or similar product.) Encourage your daughter to nurse from the second breast after she is done with the first (watching her, not the clock). Remember that the pump is not nearly as efficient and removing milk as a baby. So when you are seeing an ounce of your milk from the pump, that does not mean that's all she is getting when she nurses. (I have only been able to pump a few ounces at a time even with my milk supply completely established, though I can tell by my babies' growth that they were getting a whole lot more than that.) Keep track of your baby's weight gain and ensure she's having adequate wet and poopy diapers, and get help from a La Leche League Leader. Good luck! You can do this!

If you have a bronchitis or some sort of upper respiratory illness a hot shower will help open you up. Also those Shower soother's tablets work really well they turn your shower into a big vaporizer and open up your chest. You can get them at the drug store.

If you have diarrhea, it can be unfortunate. But for flus and colds,
it always made me breathe and feel better to just be clean.
