I am a 24 year old male. Both my parents have high blood pressure. I first realized that I had high blood pressure (160/90) when I was 22. When I went to the doctor I was told that I was too young to take any medication and was told to eat healthy and exercise regularly. Now my blood pressure fluctuates a lot ranging from 120/68 to 160/110. But normally its around 140/90. I have been eathing healthy and exercising regularly, but I don't see any significant reduction in my blood pressure. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

I was a realtively healthy 20 year old girl last november.I have missed 3 periods since then. I have taken two blood tests, had a physical examination and taken SIX home tests and it has been a firmly discovered that I am NOT pregnant. My hair is falling out quickly and I am losing quite a bit of weight. I am extremly fatigued all the time, I have trouble getting up to go to the washroom even! and I spend most of my days feeling extremly weak. You know that feeling after you have been really really sick?It is like I am wasting away. I eat as much fruit and veggies and lean meat as i can, i try to excercise, but i have to sit down every 10 or 15 minutes because i will collapse if I don't.I have had an MRI done and a CT Scan and they came back clear.I have had copius amounts of blood and urine taken, to no avail. Can someone please help me out? what do you think?I am worried, it has taken me 20 minutes to type this.My doc is so confused.

Just curious, since when I do it my face gets very dry. If i do just use soap for an extended period of time and nothing else, will that result in more breakouts?

I have been over weight my whole life. I am 5'2 and 24 years old. At my heaviest I was 200lbs that was 2 years ago, I now weight 138. I know what your thinking.. wow..thats great. And it is, but I still look in the mirror and see that fat girl. Dont get me wrong I still have more than enough fat, hips thighs a butt ..its all there.
Anyway, My fiance has been away for the last 6 months, since he has been gone i have been extremelly depressed, and in turn i always put a lot of blame on my weight. About 4 months ago I started throwing up after I ate, not all the time but I was doing it, If i felt guilty. Istarted getting nose bleeds, my tounge was a wierd color and my skin was looking horrible. I decided if i went at this alone and never told anyone things would only get worse. So I decided to tell my fiance what was going on, not to worry him but for some help. Someone to turn to someone to keep asking me and a reason not to do it anymore...

I am sick, at home with a cold. Does this just sound like a normal cold, or is it bronchitis?
I have a stuffy nose, a sore throat, I can't really talk, and I have a fever of 101. But my chest doesn't hurt, so does that make it just a cold? Or could this develop into bronchitis?
Also, any tips on how to make it go away quickly? I don't want to miss anymore school.

All my life I have had very few dreams. I have Multiple Sclerosis (I am 50 yrs. old) and my Neurologist said I must be in REM sleep in order to dream. Occasionally I sleep so hard that I do dream, but only once or twice a year or so. I took a nap the other day and slept very hard and actually had a dream. How can I get to sleeping deeply? Are the prescription sleep medications safe for using occasionally for this? My Husband dreams every night and falls asleep within minutes of going to bed. It takes me a LONG time to fall asleep and I hardly ever dream. Please help. Dreaming the other day seemed to make me feel refreshed. By the way my MS is not bad at all. I have had it for more than 20 years. You would not know I had it unless I told you.

My son just took a tylenol fast melt and he threw it up within about 25 minutes. I could see the purple color from the pill, so I'm not sure how much he absorbed. Should I give him another now, wait a little bit, or wait a couple hours and assume he got most of the medicine?

I had my tonsils taken out on 28 December 2006 and now have this sensation that there is something "stuck" in the back of my throat on the left side. I asked my doctor about it when I went in for my post-op follow up and he said that he had to cut into my soft pallate because my left tonsil was so large. He looked down my throat and said that he didn't see anything and told me that if I still had the feeling in a couple of weeks, I was to check back with him. I still have the sensation and now I seem to have sinus problems (excess drainage) to the point where it actually seems to block my throat, especially at night. I'm also snoring now and I never snored before the surgery. When I told my doctor's nurse about this, she told me to gargle with salt water and call back. I'm concerned about scarring (I am a keloid former) but no one else seems to be...should I see someone else, or should I even be concerned?

Smoking in virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces is to be prohibited by law throughout the United Kingdom.

The smokefree law forms part of the Health Act 2006. Implementation of the law varies for each country as follows:
Wales 2 April 2007
Northern Ireland 30 April 2007
England 1 July 2007
(Scotland’s ban on smoking in public places came into force on 26 March 2006).

My 2.5 year old son has what seems to be a cold; runny nose, no fever, and an awful cough. He hasn't been eating anything either, of substance - just a bite here and there over the last 24 hours. He's a bit lethargic but does not have a rash. He's just not himself. When should I consider it serious enough to call a doctor? THANKS!
