Actually, you probably could. Some doctors or their office staff call in prescriptions to the pharmacy for patients, WITHOUT a written prescription.
So, if you were sneaky, you could pretend to be an office staff of a doctor and call in a prescription. It might work.
My doctor's staff has called in prescritpions to my pharmacy before....no signature, nothing....

If it's a refill, you can call your pharmacist and if you don't have any refills left from your last prescription, they will call your doctor.
If it's been too long the doctor will let the pharmacist know that you need to make an appointment to see the doctor before the prescription can be renewed.

NO, by law, the pharmacist must have a written prescription to be able to fill the medication order. You can however call for refills.

Only if you want to go to jail. You must have DEA number and fax the info to the pharmacy on the doctors letterhead.

No. If you could do that, no one would go to the doc's. They'd just call themselves in a script.
