I am a dermotologist and it grows faster in the winter because the heat from the son and your blow drying everyday(some people blow dry their hair more in the summer because they hate to sweat and they wash their hair two to three times a day-in the morning when they wake up,when they get off work,etc)and all that damages the hair.

i'm not sure but mine grows really fast all year. like a few months ago i got 3 inches cut off and in 5 weeks it was almost back
