I noticed my sons brown eyes had one speck in one eye that is a darker brown. Should I be worried?

My daughter and I are going to the beach soon and both wear prescription glasses. I don't have the money for prescription sunglasses. Do they have sunglasses that clip on over regular glasses that don't have that ugly clip in the middle of your nose? Can you get these at places like Walmart Optical for a decent price?

I HATE to wear spectacles. But somehow my eyesight just keeps deteoriating over the years which I don't understand why. In fact, my visual degree is already 600++, which I think is REALLY BAD. I've tried contact lenses but my eyes feel dry after a few hours, especially in air-conditioned places.

Is there any other way to improve eyesight other than lasik surgery? Lasik comes with side effects so I don't really wish to try.

Help!! At this rate i'm going, i'm scared i may go blind soon!

I mean AFTER I take them off, obviously. I'm thinking that wearing glasses will make my vision weak, like how driving instead of walking would make your legs weak? Will NOT wearing glasses strengthen my vision? I don't wear my glasses all day, and only for things like watching TV or movies (I dont drive or anything, dont worry.) and I'm just wondering if it would really matter if i wore them all day or not.

I was just curious...with all the use of technology: text messaging, watching television and movies, and browsing the internet- will the human eye evolve to be stronger?

Or...

I know staring at a computer screen for hours is damaging to one's sight, so do you think the eye will get weaker and need stronger lenses and operations to correct vision?

Or do you think eyes will stay about the same?

I was just wondering since technology is becoming more dominant in most people's lives. Thanks!

They're most noticable on bright sunny days, but they're always in my vision.
They're definitely physical objects and not my imagination because they're affected by gravity (They sink down when my eyes are still and then bounce back up when I move my eyes).
You do know what I'm talking about, right?
What are those things?
I hope I'm not the only person who sees those things.

I had an eye exam the other day and my prescription has changed. I now require progressive lenses, whereas before my eyeglasses were just for reading. As my new eyeglasses are about 10 days away, could someone please tell me, based on the following prescription, what stock standard diaopeter glasses I should get, for reading until my new eyeglasses arrive? Trying to do computer work and reading at the moment is a nightmare.

I currently wear disposable contacts, and I believe they are to be removed nightly, then I put them back in in the morning. Well, I wear my contact lenses for about a month or two at a time without ever removing them until they finally get uncomfortable. I know this may be a dumb question; but, is that bad for me to do? I wouldn't know why it would be. I mean, they don't dry up, get ripped/torn, etc. Please answer only if you know what you're talking about. Don't make a "guess." Sorry! Not trying to sound mean.
