I was -7.00 with astigmatism in both eyes!
Contacts corrected my vision much better than glasses.
I had Lasik and now am 20/20 in both eyes.

There are lots of people out there like you and worse. You see Rx's go both ways plus and minus. Depending on how you need help. It actually goes in a scale up to 25.00. Think of it like dollars and cents, your only missing $7.50 from your $25. So you have a little ways to go before they give you a dog and a cane.

My eyes are so bad even with my glasses I'm nearly blind. When I went to the Dmv, I couldn't even read the eye chart and this is with my glasses but I also have an astigmatism.

gosh, my eyes are horrible too. i think i have around a -4.5ish for each, but definitely don't quote me on that. i'm only going by the little number on my contact lenses = ]. but yeah your definitely not alone!

okay, mine might not be as weak, but one eye is a -4 and the other is a -1....
talk about severely imbalanced...
i have no depth perception!
