The Lions Club organization often accepts donations (http://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/content/vision_eyeglass_centers.shtml ). Also, eyeglass stores in the mall frequently have donation boxes for unwanted glasses.

You can donate them to a Lion's Club. They are wonderful about distributing them to the Needy. That is wonderful you want to help someone.

in my area the post office has a box for donations of eyeglasses maybe yours does too
