I use contacts that are -3.5 on both sides! Glasses, I don't know, I'm pretty sure a little higher since contacts lay right on your eye. Is that blind? Am I nearsighted or farsighted?

gosh i hope there's an optomotrist out there somewhere..

okay, soooo i'm 20. and i have 20/20 vision in my right eye, and 20/60 ish in my left eye
i've been like that since i was little.. but i've got this eye turn, because my left eye goes inward when i try to focus.. and it seems like i only use my right eye (wich is only natural considering thats the strongest eye) i walk around all day, no glasses and i can see fine 9when i focus) the thing is..

my left eye starts to hurt from being turned in all the time.. when i dont focus both eyes are straight. but when i do, the left one goes in and i look stupid.

the doc perscribed me these glasses that make my eyes look big, and theres a prism in the left lense to correct the turn.. but the glasses make me have double vision, and after a while my head starts to hurt. i wanna get my eye fixed.

what should i do? should i get the sight corrected in the left eye to correct the turn, or should i get the muscle fixed so it wont turn

I wear prescription glasses however haven't had a eye check for about 2 years now. Lately I have been getting itchy eyes, particularly around the edges of my eye. Subsequently I've been rubbing them which makes them a nice red colour.

If my prescription is out of date/to weak, could this be causing the itchy eyes?

pink eyes and this is different. Is there any reason for my eye to react this way? It is just my right eye?

I am sick of my eyes being red. It started in February of 2006 with one eye being bright red and a little irritated, and has never cleared up. First one eye, then the other, now back to the first. Yes, it has really been 17 months. I've tried ClearEyes, Visine, and CVS brand redness reducing drops. They took the deep redness down to a pale pink, but only for a few hours. And after a couple of days, they didn't even do that. So I went to the doctors. One opometrist, one opthamologist, two different cornea specialists. Between them I've gotten four prescription eyedrops, and an 1800mg script for ibuprofren. They did the same thing as the drops, except they kept working for a little longer. Finally, I saw my rheumatologist, who prescribed me two oral prescriptions. I'm tired of taking medicine everyday and my eye still being red. I'm tired of missing a day of meds and getting a headache in my eye. I'm tired of people accusing me of having pinkeye. What can I do to be normal again?

I tutor a 3rd grader in reading. He tells me he has trouble seeing the words, he confused b and d sometimes, he had to think so hard when decoding words we have just sounded out. His mother has had his vision tested. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I'm having a problem with my eyes and needing some help. About 2 weeks ago I started having itchy eyes about once every 2 days or so. I would rub them or rinse them with saline and it would go away. Well, for the past week this problem has gotten worse. It begins feeling like something is in my eye, so I rub it (I shouldn't I know, but it itches). It just keeps getting worse to the point of my eye is red and hurts to even open it. If I lay down for 30-60 minutes, the pain goes away and I am fine.

I have looked online and seen that some women have dry eyes due to hormones when pregnant, but I was just wondering if any of you had experienced it firsthand. If so, PLEASE share any advice you have.

Another piece of info... I wear contacts, but have been using only my glasses for the past couple of days

Thanks!

Also, is it a continual thing? Do you have to do it forever, or is it a one time thing? If it is continual, is it worth it? And does anyone have a program that has worked for them?

I've been wearing glasses for about 2 1/2 years and I can tell my vision deteriorating. I lost my new glasses and I can barely see anything with my old one unless I tilt it in a certain angle.
Is there any way o improve my vision? (naturally) I heard Vitamin A only make your eyes better at night. I also read eye exercises only prevent your eyes from worsening but it doesn't make it any better. Please help.
Thanks in advance.

okay. long story short...I was born with lazy eye and had surgery to correct it when i was 5. along with the lazy eye i didn't have periphial vision, so they attempted to correct that as well. as time went on i've noticed that i still have the lazy eye, just not as bad. if you look at me in the eyes you can catch it from time to time, especially when i'm tired. i've worn glasses since i was about 9, and every eye doctor i've gone to has told me that i cannot wear contacts because my eyes don't have a focal point. so if i were to wear contacts i'd see 2 of everything, because my eyes don't work together. is that something that laser eye surgery could correct, or am i stuck with glasses for the rest of my life?

I work at a desk job and am constantly looking at a computer. As well, I am also in a room of flourescent lights. I wear contacts too.

By the end of the day my eyes are so tired that I can hardly keep them open to watch TV. I'm not physically tired from the work day..it's just my eyes.

Is there anything I can do?

I am 14 years old, and I am Korean. One day one of my eye got folded for whole day, but not the other eye. It looked weird so, I rubbed it all day to get it off. But, now I want two of the folded eye back. How do I do that without having a surgery, purchasing anything. Any exercises? Or, will it fold itself as I grow older . THank you for your help!
