my prescription for glasses from last year are -4.25 in the right eye and -7.00 in the left. i believe my left eye is lazy and depends on the right one to see but recently my right eye condition is getting worse i think because i cant see far away tiny letters anymore. i am currently 16 years old and would it possible for me to get lasik if my condition doesnt get worse? since the minium age suggested to get lasik is 18.

When i first got them everything was fine, but maybe 5 months later i started getting migraines. First, things would look brighter and lights would pop up. then pain in my eyes and head came, soon comes nausea, and boom out comes breakfast. i have seen an eye doctor, he says nothing is wrong with me. i need to wear my contacts for school, and yes sometimes the same thing happens with glasses but mainly contact lenses.

I usually wear contacts throughout the day, but the optometrist says it's better to wear glasses at home to let the eyes rest. When I first put on the glasses, it took me couple of days before the dizziness disappears. I've been wearing glasses for the past two days. Today when I switched from glasses to contacts, I'm experiencing the same kind of dizziness as I had before. Is there a way to ease the transition?

Every once in a while I a blind spot in my vision.
It isn't "dark", just kinda blurry and squiggly, and seems slowly change location. It goes away in about 30 minutes.
It seems to happen when I am tired, and have been looking at the computer. Also I've found that caffeine may help it go away (though I am not sure about that). My doctor said it might be caused by changes in my caffeine intake.

Has anyone else experienced this?

my eye doctor said i have a condition where my cornea could seperate from my eye (like in layers). its common in nearsighted people, and the layers will break apart if your eye recieves a severe blow. it starts with an 's'--maybe pronounced skeesia. does anyone have any information on it, ro know what it's called?

What I want to know is, why do my glasses never entirely fix my vision to 20/20? I go to an optometrist or to an opthamologist every year to get an eye exam done, and the perscription keeps getting strengthened (as is appropriate, I guess, as I am only 18). I know that not all of the doctors can be giving me the wrong perscription--different doctors have given me similar perscriptions each year, though always my perscription is strengthened. Yet I can still see only about 20/40 or 20/50.

It's not like my eyes are so bad that nothing could be done to corrrect them--my last perscription from an opthamologist was: OD: +1.00 diopters farsightedness, +1.00 diopters for astigmatism with a 120 axis; OS: -3.25 diopters nearsightedness, +.50 diopters for astigmatism, with a 90 axis. It's not like that perscription is particularly severe, I think.

Is it possible that my eye doctors keep assuming that my eyes are getting worse and strengthen the perscription, while it is too strong?

Usually after I put the eye drops in, my eyes burn a little bit. Is there something else that I can use to alleviate the irritation and take away the redness? Is there an ingredient that's in some eye drops have that others don't use that may be what's making it worse? I'm always looking stoned, but it's just caused by my allergies or lack of sleep. So, obviously I really don't want people to get that idea about me.
