No, insects and worms cannot get inside your eye...You would feel them before they had the chance. Just think how irritating a piece of dust is to your eye...now think of a bug...that darn bug doesn't have a chance :)
Intraocular foreign bodies do happen...but these are usually nails, metal splinters, glass, wood splinters, concrete (yes, I have seen a case of where a construction worker splashed concrete in his face, embedding some in his eye when I was taking a class). These all need to be surgically removed and you will DEFINITELY feel any of these "open globe" injuries. As I understand it...they really hurt, cause blurry vision, and in some instances depending on the area of entry and how lodged...black vision.

If its just eyelash and anything that small No.
A foreign object that gets into your eye will have to get out. Our eyes has natural defenses that will ensure that it is not invaded by anything foreign. The eye will produce tears and flush it away. Unless the object or organism can "attach" itself onto the eyeball or inside the eye (like e.g. a leech) then thats another case. But the human body will always find a way to get rid of the invader and if it can't, your body will give you warnings and signals that something is wrong. Sort of like asking for your help.

If you are around dust or a cutting tool that throws metal shavings or a glass that cracks it is very easy to get your eyeball pierced. That needs immediate emergency care.
As far as an insect getting in that is not very likely. If something is bothering your eye try flushing it with warm water.

a friend of mine recently was mowing his lawn and got metal shard fired into the side of his eyeball. they were left in for so long, his eye is now blind and the doctors had to buff the rust of the eyeball. so yes, things can get stuck in your eye. *cough hot poker cough*

Well, if that could happen then we all would be doomed and have gnats and all sorts of bugs crawling around inside of our eyes.
I don't think so.

You mean, the id? 'is it the part that thinks?' Actually, that isn't a part, the brain doesn't think, and thought is manifest in the consciousness, which is the id!

Guess it could certainly but not without considerable pain and infection if not treated.
