I've been in need of some glasses for quite some time now, i can barely read signs on the highway and it's kinda dangerous.
however, i only want the glasses that are perfectly circular, like the one's John Lennon had, or harry potter.
no one makes them any more..., i don't care about style, i think they accent my caracter.

I had a good answer when I asked about the liquid behind my lens drying and wonder if this could be the cause of it.

And Im thinkin this is bullsh*t cause ive known them for years and ive never seen their eye color change from blue. Is it possible that i havnt noticed or is it just not scientificly possible for someone's eye color to change?

[ it annoys the heck out of me when they say their eye color changes >:( ]

Okay, I have the full metal rim type of glasses. When the time comes to get new glasses, I'm wondering which type's a preffered type. Let my show you:
Full Plastic Type (No nose piece added to it.)
Full Plastic Type (Nose piece's added to it.)
Half Metal Rim
No metal on the Frame (But for the sides of the glasses it's metal.)
Full Metal Glasses (Even around the frame.)

But please, nobody reccommend the type of glasses that are really round or anything. Neither the type of glasses that has jewelry or writing on the side. (I think that they're too distracting!) Thanks everybody :)

My bottom eyelid is swollen a little in the inner corner. It's a little sore, especially in the morning. At first I thought I had an eye infection because I had my makeup professionally done on Sunday, and the girl was using used brushes...ew. It's not gunky and its not tearing a lot. It's just annoying. I feel like I shouldn't wear my contacts, so I'm wearing my glasses, but they are a few prescriptions behind. Any suggestions? Do you think I have a blocked tear duct??

I wear prescription glasses due to damaged vision, blame my computer.

However, I was wondering, since sunglasses really look good on me, I was wondering if they make prescription frames and optics that look like sporty sunglasses, if so, what store or website makes these so I can order ones for my vision problem?

Also, what is your opinion about wearing this kind of prescription glasses?

IMPORTANT: I WANT CLEAR LENSES FOR I AM GOING TO WEAR THEM AS REGULAR GLASSES, NOT FOR SUNBLOCKING what do you think about that?

I have astigmatism, and the doctor tried to fit me for astigmatism lenses, but none of them fit properly, so now I'm just wearing regular Acuvue contacts. I can still see, but it's not as clear as it should be, but oh well, I'll live. Now, I', getting new sunglasses (that I'll wear on top of my contacts). Is it possible to get non-prescription sunglasses for astigmatism?

What exactly is this condition
I went to the eye doctor who said I went from completely fine to severe astigmatism in 12 months. It was just a bunch of jibberish he said, and now I'm just worried. Right now, I wear Acuvue Colours contacts. So, the doctor gave me 11 pairs of trial astigmatism lenses, none of them fit properly (itchy, pokey) and then he gave me a 12th pair to try on. These fit perfectly... and then he told me these were the lenses I'd been wearing. The problem is that my vision hasn't worsened within the past year, I've just developed astigmatism. Wearing thick astigmatism lenses is so horribly uncomfortable, I'd rather just stick to the lenses I have. The doctor showed me how I should see with astigmatism lenses, but I don't see a huge difference. So, I want to keep the lenses I have, even though the doctor is opposed to it.
Will this make the astigmatism worse?
Why do people suddenly get astigmatism?
Will it ever go away? =(

When I was getting my prescription for my glasses, one of the things the doctor did was sit me at a machine thing and shoot a strong poof of air into my eye.

My boyfriend says that that happened to him, too. It's very uncomfortable, and the doctor asked if he could do the other eye. I don't think he did.

What is the point of shooting air into my eye? Is it even necessary (because he asked if he could)? I just don't understand...

I don't mean to offend anyone, just doing some research for story. Can someone be blind and not have cloudy eyes or have any physical indication of blindness? Why does the eyes go cloudy? And would the eyes be cloudy if the blindness wasn't a birth defect, but was caused shortly after birth? Thanks for answers!
