my husband lost his presciption sunglasses in the river. anyone know an estimate of how much it will cost for him to get his presciption, our insurance doesn't cover vision?

if it has been a while since his last eye exam, he will have to pay for another eye exam. Eye exams are usually about $50-$70...then you will have to buy new lenses & frames.. lenses & frames vary in price from about $100 & up. best thing to do is check around in your area to compare prices.

Some places charge less for glasses than others. Check prices at Costco or Americas Best--they both have good prices for glasses.

I don't think any insurance company will cover vision........
Untill then juss pay what your optician ask you for
