ok, i know a few people who has claimed that their eye color changes from blue to hazel to blue to green within a few years..... And Im thinkin this is bullsh*t cause ive known them for years and ive never seen their eye color change from blue. Is it possible that i havnt noticed or is it just not scientificly possible for someone's eye color to change?

[ it annoys the heck out of me when they say their eye color changes >:( ]

Actually... There are only two situations I have ever heard of and seen myself.

1. Makeup based illusions. Certain colors of eye makeup can make certain colors of eyes seem to change. I can make my blue eyes appear green or grey depending on my eye makeup color.

2. Cornea transplant surgery. When a transplant occurs, some people notice slight changes in their iris color. Most times it is immeasurable. But my mother's right eye got a deeper brown after her transplant. They were a light hazel prior to the surgery.

Eye color can change naturally (not dramatically unless you are a hazel eyed person). Eye (and hair) color depends on the amount of melanin present and also may change as you age. During puberty there is a hormone in your body which triggers production of more melanin or something so hair and eye colors are known to change during that time. You can increase melanin in your body by:
spending time in the sun which triggers the melanin in your skin to protect UV rays
drinking water because there melanin is soluble
eating vege's.
and some form of vitamin B6 ( i think.)
anyway also eating alot of raw foods
If your friends have hazel eyes then yes it is possible that it
changes because there are different amounts of melanin
present so it changes color and many notice it changes
with your mood.
peace out

WELL SOMETIMES YEA, ITS ESPECIALLY MORE LIKELY FOR A BLUE EYED PERSON TO CHANGE EYE COLORS TO HAZEL, BUT I HAVE BROWN EYES AND MY EYE COLOR CHANGES SHADES IN THE DIFFERENT SEASONS, SOMETIMES ITS REALLY DARK BUT MOST OF THE TIME I HAVE LIGHT BROWN EYES!

BUT MOST PEOPLE DO USE EYE CONTACTS AND SOME JUST SAY THAT TO BULLSH!T YA!

It is possible. My sister's eyes change from hzel to blue to green because of her mood or surroundings. It's not instant, but you can notice the changes. And it's always a hazelish blue or hazelish green. It's never full blown green or blue.

Yes, its possible. My eyes used to be blue when I was born, now they changed to hazel. You can see the difference in pictures. It seems to happen to asian-americans, ussually if your dad has blue eys and your mom has brown.

possibly, i don't really know... but eye color is partly due to expression of melanin (blue - low melanin, brown - high melanin) which is the same pigment used in skin. now skin can tan, what about eyes? perhaps.
