About lasik surgery?

hi all ,
i want to go for Lasik treament in next yr.i heard that we can operate one eye at a time(is it true).if so when should the other one
be operated( means the time period).any one who has undergone lasik can answer this .

You can have the surgery done on one eye at a time, or they can do the correction on both eyes at the same time. If they only do one eye. you will need to have the lens in your glasses changed to a Plano lens (one with no correction)

I had the surgery done 3 months ago today. They did both eyes at the same time, and I was very happy with the results. I was almost blind without corrective lenses, and now am seeing 20/20 in both eyes!

Most people have both eyes done at once. I would recommend you talk to your surgeon, to see if there is any reason not to do both at the same time!

You can certainly perform Lasik one eye at a time. In fact it may make sense. I have been sitting on the sidelines about Lasik and doing a ton of research. Based on data I've found, the complication rate is quite high, up to 28% if you are Asian.

Lasik is usually done on both eyes the same day. In the past, some of the procedures, like PRK only did one eye at a time, but there was some delay in healing and getting the eyesight back. With Lasik, you should be seeing perfectly right after the procedure, when done correctly, so there is usually no reason to do the eyes separately.
