I use contacts that are -3.5 on both sides! Glasses, I don't know, I'm pretty sure a little higher since contacts lay right on your eye. Is that blind? Am I nearsighted or farsighted?

If you are nearsighted this means you can see, up close than a distance objects that are blurred at a distance. Your eye ball is longer than normal for nearsighted.
Farsightedness occurs when the person can see further away than up close. The eye ball is shorter than nornal here
If you are blind this means you cannot see totally and legally. Only your doctor can determine, but I am going to say this if you can see even if its blurred you are not blind.
If you have astigmatism both near and far objects are blurred, the person can have eyestrain, headaches.

If you are looking for the legal definition of blind, then I am sure that there are many sources. If you are totally blind, you see nothing, legally blind is something that is not well corrected with glasses or contacts, i.e. you could not interpret visual information accurately, even with corrective lenses.

You are near sighted.

It is not possible to tell from your prescription if you are blind, as blindness is not defined in terms of refractive error, it is defined in terms of how well you see with your glasses or contacts.

If you see 20/20 to 20/40 with your glasses or contacts then your sight is normal. If you see 20/40 or worse with them, you are partially sighted. If you see 20/200 or worse with them, you are legally blind. And if you see nothing (totally black) with them you are totally blind.
