If the headaches are accommpanied by nausea and dizziness then it is highly unlikely that they are due to your contacts.

They may be migraine or due to dehydration or due to other medical problems like diabetes, anemia, thyroid problems etc..

Tell your parents about your headaches and go to see your family doctor

The way it's written I'm not sure but you do take out your contacts when you go to sleep right? Because you should really be doing that.
You say you've been having headaches for about two months, and we are about two months into the summer. You say you have more headaches the longer you wear them. Well my verdict is that you are severely dehydrated. Drink 8 glasses of water, just water, every day. If the headaches don't stop see your eye doctor.

I had headaches similar to what you are describing & yes they were vision headaches. I wanted to cut my head off sometimes they hurt so bad. I had worn contacts for years & figured it had something to do with my prescription. My prescription had changed a little like yours did, & my doc thought that maybe that was the problem. When I put my new contacts in, I would still get the bad headaches once in a while. My doc said give it a couple of weeks for my eyes to adjust. Are you putting more strain on your eyes (ie. spending more time reading or watching tv or on the pc?). If you are still getting bad headaches after your eyes have adjusted to your new prescription, please go see your reg doc. It could be anything from low blood sugar to something really serious.

You may have several different issues going on with your eyes and the use of contacts. 1st of all, you are probably wearing the weekly disposable contacts which have more water content, and are more permeable. However, it sounds like you are leaving them in for two weeks. I recommend that you remove the contact lenses everyday and give your eyes a chance to breathe.... Also, have your Optometrist recheck the fit. A wrong fit can cause serious ulcers or abrations in your eyes. You must inform your Optometrist immediately if you are getting excruciating headaches. He or she can easily rule out problems associated with the contacts, or refer you to the right person.

My contacts were giving me a headache because I had to strain my eyes to read signs far away. Turned out that my contacts were off for the prescription, and my prescription wasn't strong enough. Tell your parents to take you to the optomistrist to get your eyes rechecked. Otherwise, it might be better to stick to glasses if your contacts aren't working out for you.

Do you feel as if your eyes get tired and dry after 5-6 hours of wearing lenses? I know mine do. And eventually, I develop a very bad headache because of the discomfort that I feel. So I avoid wearing them unless needed. I also choose to wear daily contact lenses, so that I minimise the risk of infection.

I have the same problem. It might help if you take them out while you sleep at night to give your eyes a rest. But you should tell your doctor. It is not normal.

i would say highly likely - you need to speak tot he eye dr right away - it could be the perscriptions is off slightly - ot the contacts themselves may not have been made propely to match what the dr asked for - only seeing your dr will tell!!
