Here lately ive had horribly insomnia and started taking "melatonin" an all natural insomnia cure... but it doesnt seem to help. It just makes me drowsy a little bit after i take it, and the only time i MIGHT be asleep it feels like i'm just daydreaming and i have alot of pointless stray thoughts and i dont think i'm really sleeping... i dont know if its because i'm so strung out or what. Anyways i havent slept for a long time (because i cant) and ive tried everything from not trying to warm milk ect, and nothing makes a difference. What will happen if i dont sleep a long time?

Should i see a doctor or something?

I have had my laptop for five months which i bought to play online bingo and Ebay.Yesterday i got a message popup saying WARNING-You have 624 adult images and URL files in your machine, just to verify, i have NEVER visited an adult site and never would. It said they would recommend that i download a package which was called a Drive Cleaner to clear it.Iphoned BT about it but they were useless.Dad said just to ignore such things as they could be spam. This is bothering me that much i am thinking of getting rid of internet.Could you give me your opinion please. Thankyou.P.S-I am the only person who uses my laptop.

Is hypnosis real, is there proof? I've been trying to find some hypnosis can actually work at the unconcious level right before my eyes., like my arm swing in front of me, or me spin in a circle or anything that defies my understanding of concious action to directed subconcious action.

Does anyone have any information etc.. that can demonstrate hypnosis, actually has the capacity to "profoundly" and very likely directly effect the subconcious mind to concious action?

I would like to find a stress test for self-evaluation on the internet which actually has some depth and doesn't make you look at cows and dolphins (even though that one is funny, admittedly...)

Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks.

I have been on and off anti-depressants for most of my adult life. I was pushed to ask for them again because of extreme anxiety that I have never experienced before. I have not started them yet but have found that my anxiety has lessened somewhat just by having the pills in my posession. I hate the thought of daily pills, but I also hate the thought of future panic attacks. I also like wine once in awhile. I'm not an idiot. I know that the doctor would say no alcohol. Just looking for some real life stories.

I was petting the bear on the head and trying to feed it from food in the refrigerator, but as I was feeding it bolgna, the whole pack at once, and everything else I realized I did not have enough food in the whole refrigerator for even one good meal for the bear. Then, I came downstairs, and the house was different, not this house or any house I've ever lived in, I felt very scared of it and called animal control. When three men arrived to take the bear it jumped through the door and attacked them. What does this dream mean?

Is it just a saying? Or an actual problem? I don't know, but if it is a problem, I would assume its some sort of OCD maybe?

My boyfriend told me he was diagnosed with Bipolar when he was young, But Ive been reading out borderline personality disorder, and Im 99% sure thats what hes got.
How can I deal with this, Ive been with him 7 months, and Love him but feel emotionally drained. Most of his relationships dont last longer than 6 months, and he told me where moving too fast and need to slow down.
I also am worried he is cheating on me, what is the persentage of people with this disorder that cheat.
I am thinking of just leaving him, I feel I cant trust him

I think too much about everything. I worry that I am a bad person because I like buying nice clothes. I feel guilty when I listen to mainstream music. I am worried that anything I do for fun is destroying the earth. I have taken ecstasy three times, mushrooms 4 times, cocaine twice, salvia once and codeine and weed quite a bit. Do you think these drugs might have contributed to this?

When I was little (I'm 21 now), I used to have what my grandmother scoldingly referred to has my "habits". They were generally strange physical movements that I would do repetitively both knowingly and unknowingly. My "habits" varied greatly in what exactly they were, but some examples foremost in my mind would be nodding of the head, huffing air (not chemicals, this is a substance abuse I'm talking about :P) until my lungs were completely full, clicking the back of my throat, and so on. Often times these repetitious activities would annoy me, but I found them very difficult to stop. Eventually, a specific habit would cease, but sooner or later a new habit (or an old one) always surfaced in its place.

The thing is that I still have this problem, except that my "habits" are a bit more subtle. Some of the things I currently do are: bending the knuckles of my thumbs, clicking my throat, huffing air, closing my eyes tightly, tapping the tip of my tongue against the roof of my mouth..

you. how serious should one be if the person who you have been off and on inv w/ for 11 years says they are about to kill themselves. i mean if you have time to call someone back and tell them you are gonna do it isnt that a form of attention and control or and manipulation to make you feel for them. and you dont want to be involved any longer cause of their heavy drinking and the love is jst not there? whagt would you do? i was thinking of dialing 911 i am 2hrs away from him. and i would feel bad just like he wants me too. if he tried to hurt himself, but then i cant do anything for him. the paramedics could get there faster than i would and be able to help him

I've dealt with it for years, now it's come to a point where it made me lose my fiance of 4 years. I held grudges, wouldn't let little things go, thought of traumatizing childhood experiences. It's taken me losing my love to realize what I'm doing wrong. I've been doing better, but I still struggle. Anyone have advice on how I can let go of my anger and pain?
