I just want your opinion on whether or not I really should take my daughter to see a psychiatrist.

Yesterday she was telling me that about 2 years ago she started “coloring” traffic signs in her head. As we drive she looks at the signs and imagines herself coloring them. She said if there are too many signs she invisions herself grabbing them all and putting them in a bag to take home and color later. She mentioned that she has tried to quit this habit several times but will have a panic attack and can’t control the desire to mentally color. If I drive too fast and she isn’t done coloring a sign she gets anxiety and tries to distract herself.

I’m not sure if it would be considered a real problem or just a vivid imagination. If we are having a conversation she said she doesn’t think about the signs and is able to function okay. It’s when she is quiet that she has the urge to look out the window and color.

Thank you for any suggestions.

i have had tightness in my chest for 10 months now. I have had EKGs, Chest xrays, and blood work, all cam back normal. Doctors have said it's anxiety.
I have the tightness everyday, I have noticed that if something stressful is happening it tightens up more, I get shortness of breath, racing thoughts, what if thinking, and my throat feels tight.
My main troublesome symptom is the tightness in my chest in my left pec region. Doctors hav said nothing is physically wrong with me. I can't seem to shake it off, that there could be something serious wrong, and the doctors missed something. My mom tells me, to calm down, not all the doctors I have seen are wrong.
I called my doctor one day and he told me to see a psychiatrist.

Could I been over reacting?
Has anyone else had tightness in their chest everyday?
Please help.
Thanks:)

I've been having a pretty tough time at the moment...I have had a miscarriage after trying for a baby for three years, I have been abused by my psychiatrist, and am no longer interested in the thesis I'm supposed to be writing. I am having really horrendous nightmares where I wake up crying or feeling so low that I just want to die. Is there anything I can do before bed to stop nightmares?

I was at the movies with my brother, my sister and her boyfriend. And we were sitting in our seats.

I was just sitting there talking to my brother one second and then I didnt notice when but i was just dreaming all of a sudden. It didnt feel like I blacked out. and i dont think i was sleeping.
I was dreaming that i was in a jewelry store and i saw a watch on display.
and i went up to the watch to pick it up and check it out.
but when i tried to pick up the watch it was stuck.
so i kinda just pulled harder on the watch.
and what made me come back to reality was when the guy infront of me yanked his hand away and said "what the heck". (he had his hand resting on the seat infront of me).
I didnt notice the guy before all this happened.
He just scooted down a couple seats.

Fortunaly he didnt kick my azz for thinking i was trieng to steal his watch.

Nothing like this has ever happend before

Does anyone know at all why this happend?

I am taking 400mg of Wellbutrin and 50mg of Zoloft daily. I just changed from taking 200mg of Wellbutrin and 150mg of Zoloft daily. Since my doctor and I adjusted my dosage I have been getting nausea and headaches after I take my medication each day. I called my doctor's office to talk about it but they said I have to come in to talk about it, I'm sure they just want me to come in so they can charge my insurance for a visit. I don't want to take the time to go in if there is a simple answer to this question. Any ideas on what to do to avoid nausea on a daily basis?

Or is it the symptoms of the deficiency that is causing it? I have been feeling extremely tired, having trouble staying focused and just not thinking clearly, in addition to nightmares, crying, etc... I had some lab work done and I have several deficiencies to deal with B-12, D, iron, protein. Not sure if I should just try to deal with these and the rest will fall into place or if I should try treating depression at the same time.
