Suffering from depression and anxiety and its horrible. This year has been rough. I have lost my job, last living grandmother, financial troubles what else? I think though I am depressed. Already been to DR. and counselor but they just want to put you on drugs. I dont want that but you think the anxiety and depression causes the slight dizziness? Cannot wait until I'm over all this. Have a hard time letting go of emotions always have, think maybe that could be problem too. Just feel sad alot, I have a loving family, three boys and loving wife just wish these feelings of sadness and anxiety would go away. It has been 6 mos when it started any one been through this and any down to earth advise? thank you for any replys:)

I have a really really good friend that has become seriously depressed in the past year. At first I really tried to be supportive and there for him. I suggessted counseling over and over again and he never went. He sends me depressing texts all the time about wanting to move home and having bad days and having no control over his emotions. I love the guy to death but it is seriously bringing me down! I've tried the harsh approach, quit feeling sorry for yourself bit and nothing seems to help. It depresses me for days when he sends me this sad stuff. When I actually talk to him in person he never talks about it. I'm to the point of saying get help or lose my number. I CAN NOT deal with this anylonger. What can I do??

We have been together for about 6 years and for the most part we get along great. About two years or so ago we began to fight/argue and the arguements escalated into physical abuse. Yes, he did hit me. I held in there for a little while but eventually I couldn't take it anymore so I went to a shelter and stayed for some time. The people there helped me to understand what was happening and I buit my strength back. My husband began councilling for abusive men, a 16 week course and came out of it a different person.
It's been a year since he finished his councilling and I talk to my councillors when I need them but lately, for about two or three months no my husband has become verbally abusive. He is calling me names, bringing up my past (like 25 years ago) and bringing up my inadequesies (we all have some, right?)
I have asked him why and he doesn't know. He is always sorry for talking to me that way and when I threaten to leave he becomes terrified.

I don't know why, but I'm usually more moody than everyone else, I'm usually more serious. And in the world of highschool, I feel like I just don't fit in. I have high expectations of loved ones. I can't stand watching teen movies because they make me want to vomit. I think it's stupid when girls dress like their hookers. And I'm just so confused. Should I see someone to get help?

I have a personal problem with some one, i cant go into detail, but ive gotta talk to him cuz i know how he is about something and its really bogging him down, and so he needs me to talk to. BUT, things get deeper; I have that same thing, and its just right for him [to talk to]. I need to get through to him about his emotions but I need to get through to him about mine. Now, you think... why is that? What do we have in common. Now, this is where its critical... Thats exacly what im after. Cuz i know... Its sumthing about......us. What, why? Thats what im so ever desperietly needing to talk about. But time divides us.
(Sorry dudes, i (as i said) cant go into any detail here bout this.)
But tell me what youse think bout that. Fait??

Its just like walking a tight rope, you cant go all out, but you have to let things fall into place and adjust them yourself and play the game thats so fragile its just so hard not to tip it.
