A wet dream is a sexual dream that ends with the dreamer climaxing physically due to the dream. It could be related to masturbation considering no one is there to assist in the pleasuring.

This does not have to do with masturbation, which is a voluntary action. Wet dreams occur while you are totally asleep, so you cannot control them. Often during puberty, a young man will wake up with some semen that was released from his penis while he was asleep. that is what happens with a wet dream. This may or may not be related to an actual sexy dream, but this is part of going through puberty and is normal. It might happen to you, or it might not happen at all. I wouldn't expect it to happen all thie time, it's more of an occasional occurence. I don't think it happens after puberty for most people, but it could.

Masturbation for a male is just when he touches his penis in such a way that makes him feel good. Usually that would involve rubbing or stroking it until he has an orgasm and ejaculates. This is something that you do conciously while you are awake, which makes it quite different from a wet dream.

A nocturnal emission is an ejaculation of semen experienced during sleep. It is also called a "wet dream", an involuntary orgasm, or simply an orgasm during sleep.
Nocturnal emissions are most common during teenage and early adult years. However, nocturnal emissions may happen any time after puberty. They may or may not be accompanied by erotic dreams. It is possible to wake up during the ejaculation, or to just stay asleep during the ejaculation.
The source of nocturnal emissions is not entirely known, but it is associated with the fact that males typically get an erection often during sleep (this is called nocturnal penile tumescence). A common theory, tacitly assumed by many researchers, is that they are the direct result of the stimulation caused by either erotic dreams or memories of waking sexual activities. For this reason the term wet dream is also used figuratively for something very pleasurable but often imagined or hoped for. However, there has been little experimental evidence to support this theory, and many men claim to have had nocturnal emissions without accompanying erotic dreams.
Another common theory is that wet dreams are the way the body disposes of "built-up" semen, to make room for more. However, the body does not in fact need to do this, as is evident from the many men who ejaculate only on rare occasions and from studies in which there was no significant difference observed in wet dream frequency between men who ejaculated frequently while awake and those who never did. According to the Singapore Science Centre, sperm cells "degenerate and are reabsorbed (broken down and absorbed by the body) in the seminiferous tubules if they are not ejaculated. The occurrence of wet dreams is not so closely related to the absence of other sexual outlets as was once thought."

A "wet dream" is when during sleep a male ejaculates. There is no relationship between this and masturbation. Masterbation is a conscious act while a "wet dream" is completely unconscious.

Simply put - a wet dream occurs when your body needs to get rid of surplus semen. If you masturbate frequently, you may find that you don't have wet dreams at all. However, you should be aware that wet dreams are beneficial both physically and psychologically.

Wet dreams are completely normal and happen to all men when they do not masturbate. The male body produces sperm constantly - and when your testes (sperm sacks) are full because you havent had sex or masturbated then the body releases it whilst you are sleeping. Often men will have a sexual dream whilst this is happening.

when you have reached puberty and if you are dreaming of something which is sexually stimulative, your brain stimulates production of a sex hormone which causes your testis to contract, thus releasing your sperms without actual physical stimulation. this phenomenon is called a wet dream. having said that, i guess you will be able to figure out for yourself whether or not it is related to masturbation. ......... adress any further questions on similar topics , directly to me cause i am a guy with a lot of experience in these matters
