Now he is 34 the incident occured while he was doing his Bcom. Very bright. then he started saying that some one is instructing him to do so and so and he is doing violent things. This disorder is in high during the full and no moon days. why it is not cured after taking medicines for this 18 years?

It depends on his diagnosis. If he's schizophrenic, medication is not a cure it's a control.

I have family members that claim they have mental disorders like schizophrenia and split personalities and various others.

The truth of the matter is Metal Disorders are created by people that cannot handle the real world. So development of a mental disorder occurs and it becomes their excuse. Not being able to take the blame for their own action.

Meds given to these people a lot of the time are sedative’s other cases the meds really do nothing for the person. If anything its just a matter of putting the person at ease in believing they are being treated for their disorder.

He should not stop the meds without first talking to the doctor.
