My little sister has a recurring nightmare where she gets buried alive. She keeps on screaming in her sleep, and gets hysterical. I don't know what to do, and whether I should wake her up, or whether that would make things worse. Also, she never remembers screaming, or anything like that. I've talked to her about her nightmares, but she keeps getting worse. Also, I wanted to get a doctor to speak to her, but she's too embarrased to speak to one. What should I do?

K, so my friend was fine until the first day of school. She was goth and all emo-depressed! Now she has 2 goth friends and her old friends all don't know why she is like that! What should we do? She wouldn't talk to me or her old friends!

There are many people who have sexual fetishes (including those who deny having them), which can range from a fetish for leather, up to wearing diapers, etc... I wanted to find out YOUR opinion and approach to the subject of people with sexual fetishes. For example, I think there is nothing wrong with having a fetish, as long as you do not hurt anyone when expressing it/doing it.

Here's an example of a very specific type of sexual fetish, which doesn't hurt anyone at all, but is still considered to be "taboo" or "unacceptable":

Cheers, and thank you in advance for your thoughts on the subject!

Are there ever times when you're lying in bed...either just about asleep or barely asleep...and it feels like something explodes inside your head? Or maybe like you're falling? And you shoot up out of bed and are instantly awake? I do that a lot, and I'm not sure what it is. Any help?

I have a 33 year old son and my husband and I are worried about him.
He's a handsome, intelligent man, who was always popular. He worked as a newspaper journalist, but when cutbacks left him unemployed after 7 years, he totally changed. Always a hard worker, he soon landed another reporter job, but he didn't like the job after a month and quit. He fell into a depression and we had to bring him back home, as he was living 1000 miles away. He wont take antidepressants because of their side-effects.
He wanted so bad to work and sent his resume everywhere. He landed a lucrative job, but had a breakdown on the first day and quit. That was 2 weeks ago. Since then he has kept to himself all the time. I came home yesterday when he wasn't expecting me and I caught him sobbing uncontrollably in his room.
He was diagnosed in childhood with whats called Non-verbal Learning Disorder. I don't know if this is important.

Somebody please help me.

I've had it like 3 times and the only thing that remains the same in any of the dreams is that I've been shot..I always go to a different place to get treated and I always go to a different place to try to hide from this little devil who's trying to kill me .. (in one of the dreams he turns this other kid from this cute little kid in the clinic to someone who was also trying to kill me!)

I'm really freaked out..Any advice would be helpful lol

I'm taking this really really REALLY bad. I've known her since we were 2 years old, she was always the one constant in my life. I don't think i've felt anything like i'm feeling now. I can't eat, I can't breathe. I knew she was struggling, but I never thought it would come to this.
I also have questions on the religious aspect. I hope God would have enough love to realize when someone is hurting that bad, or in not full control of their mind, that he would be forgiving of them. He is a forgiving God, right? Thats why he sent Jesus, isn't it?

My husband has two kids one is 15 the other is 13. They live with us more than 50% of the time and with their mother the rest. We also have a sweet little 4 year old between us who is with us 100% of the time.
My step kids do NOT like me nor do they respect me and have said and done some really horrible stuff over the past 6 years especially when their father is not "looking".
My husband works out of town a lot and used to leave the kids with me when he was away but since things have escalated with them towards me I have requested that they stay at their mothers when dad isn't home. Dad continues to allow one or both to stay with me whether I like it or not regardless of my wishes.
Am I wrong to ask that they stay with their mother when he isn't here?

Your support is so appreciated.
I have been talking to my husband about his kids and our problems...I am still in a turmoil. So many of you have advised me to leave...fast but I am scared!
I haven't worked for 6 years (except take care of my family) and mentally I am so down, my self esteem is shot, I have none. Not sure that I am strong enough to face a shelter again in this state.
I'm afraid to stay as well because I just don't think I can take this abuse anymore. I'm really twisted!
Today I find out that my step daughter is lying about me, saying that I was going to hit her when we had an arguement last night and that I did hit (slap) a friend that was here. WRONG!!!! I can't even step on an ant. This is to much and has been going on for to long and I am beaten down by it to the point that I can't make a decision to defend myself.
Anyway, thank you to all who care so much:-)

And when I wake up,the things that were suposed to be where I
last left them are on a completely different place, and I turn on all the lights and I talk in my sleep.I also scare my parents because it isn't a pleasant feeling when you hear someone walking and talking in the midle of the night.I open the doors and shut them...
I think it is so terrible, once my mother woke me up during my sleep walking and I was so scared that I hid myself in the room.
Does anybody have a similar experience? Please don't tell me I'm the onlyone!

I've eaten a whole bag of microwave popcorn, 2 packs of ramen, 6 sticks of string cheese, a package of mac and cheese (3.5 servings), order of cheesy bread sticks from pizza hut, 6 cookies, and a large bag of cinnamon pita chips (6 oz.). This was after dinner. I feel so full right now...I can barely breathe. I'm afraid that one day, I'm going to die in the middle of a binge (stomach rupture). That would suck.

Please, no lectures about me being an overweight, lazy, stupid person. I just have a problem with binge-eating. Yes, I exercise 5 times a week. I'm at a normal weight: 5'4" 117.8. No, I'm not starving msyelf so that I'm eating out of hunger. I just have a problem with bulimia. Do not lecture about that either...yes, yes, I'm getting help.

Serious question, so serious answers only please. I just want to know what your thoughts would be. Example: "That is disgusting." "She had no self-control"

Stuff like that.
