I am all haunted by all this icky, yukky, disgusting stuff that happened to me when I was little. Just imagine pretty close to the worst kind of childhood nightmare come to life and you are pretty close to imagining the way I experienced life growing up.

It happened a long time ago, but I am still very affected.

I have real bad anxiety, post trauma, fear of intimacy, reclusive-ness, failure to thrive tendencies, all kinds of mental crud! So as a result I’m all jacked up! But I am trying to heal. I ask people for help. One person said, “In your past others abused you, now the only one abusing you is you. You are the one who is subjecting yourself to recurring, unending torture.”

What do you think he means by this? I have my ideas, but they don’t seem clear. I’d love to hear anything you have to add. Thank You.

i have tried and failed at this and i believe i was supposed to go the first time, my life is completly empty and i am numb, i have no feelings for nothing...nobody can understand me and i can see from there point of view what they are talking about but still i am numb.

My mom is moving out of Saten Island in 2 years and I don't want to leave Staten Island. There for I have 2 years to get my high school diploma and get 2 jobs so that I can afford to pay my rent. I have to get myself together before she leaves if not I have no choice but to go with her. THAT IS THE LAST THING I WANT! I am a 18 year old high school drop out trying to get my life going on the right path so I can be independent. Feed myself, pay rent and bills. But, I only have 2 years. Living in New York, that will be hard to do, due to the fact rents are extreamly high. Please help! I need all the advice I can get. Please! This is stressing me out. I cant have any fun becouse this is all I think about!

I was wondering how effective you think Strattera is. I used to be on Aderral which was very effective, but my new doctor doesn't believe in perscribing addictive drugs (I'm a recovering addict), so I'm now on Strattera. Was just wondering if any of you have had a good experience with it, and if so, at what doseage?

Don't get me wrong. I know that some offenses are unforgivable. However, there are some people who won't accept apologies for even minor offenses. Why is that? Why can't they just be big enough to accept an apology?

I am taking antibiotics for about 2 weeks to fight the bacteria in my gums which causes gum recession but I got a terrible diarrhea. can the antibiotics cause it?

It was a dream, can't figure it out. The surf was made up of smooth pebbles. They had some sort of liquidity to them as the just kept rolling in. And the sea slowly got choppier and then the waves got bigger as i was watching it from a seaside bar. But then i sort of woke up just before the first pebble hit the window. I live by the sea and when the weather is bad the pebbles do end up on the road but i never had a dream like that. And i very rarely go on the beach either, i prefer the sandy beaches i grew up by. But i do sell rocks for a living. It's weird, any thoughts?

She did spend some time in a psychiatric care unit a few months ago. The doctor put her on a mood stabalizer. I am absolutely sure that this is not working though. Since she got out of the care her moods were better but her behaviors did not change at all. They actually got worse. Is it possible that she is not medicated properly? At this time she thinks she is just fine and everything is working for her, but the behaviors are just getting worse. She is getting more distant and more secrative. I do not plan to give up on my wife, I will carry her cross with her, as this is what I am called to do as God's servant. I just want to get her well again. In my State you have to prove she is a danger to herself or others to have her committed. She has not tried or talked about suicide yet. This really scares me. Should I be concerned?

I was diagnosed with depression at 8yrs old (abusive childhood) and ive seen a therapist since then (im now 27) They haven't helped one bit.You can't change the past.
My sex life is non existant (my fault)
I'm deeply depressed
