1. They have split personality disorder (one side they're male, one side they're female. Have you seen Psych episode before their season finale?)
2. They may be somehow mentally ill.
3. They are probably having an identity/gender crises. Like say a boy was treated like a girl all his life and vice versa.

5. They want to see what it's like to be the opposite gender without actually having trans gender type surgery. If they like it they'll go under the knife to have their gender changed, or simply just stick with the cross-dressing.

My personal belief is that some people may have a underlying mental health problem that has not yet been treated.Or they may just like how comfortable womens cloths are.
