I had a dream in which this demon/being was standing over me. I do not remember if it was the cause. I was in so much emotional pain that I felt like it was physically going to kill me. I woke up feeling disturbed by this. I usually not emotional in that sense.

I know I will ultimately have to speak with my doctor, but I want to know from actual people who have taken this medication--does it help? I have mild depression that I can usually control by just waiting it out or by redirecting my thoughts. But in the depressed stages, I am really prone to irritability, anger, and frustration. It doesn't affect my academic/professional life, but it does affect my personal life. Has anyone here benefited from antidepressants for mild depression? I'm really worried that I wouldn't feel like myself or that it would affect my sex drive ... I'm 28, by the way ... don't know if age plays a role.

get away from your MAJORLY overprotective parents (to the point that they cause you to have the symptoms of clinical depression) when everyone else is very very much more likely to believe them rather than you..... especially as your parents are very good at turning on the waterworks or putting on a "im soo caring" front so that everyone else will feel sorry for them when in fact its them thats the problem...
and a psych may see it as you being the one with the problem especially when you dont trust psychs and when they have the upper hand as they can put you into a mental hospital if they see fit or if the parents complain enough only giving the parents more power over you, labeling you as the problem cz your the one displaying the symptoms and giving them the power to do this to you for life cz psychs can label you for life...
and giving them the opportunity to look like saints while they will only make you worse and worse...

If you have been abused and desided to forgive but can't forget.
And you meet someone you really like should they know about it! because they always run away when you tell them!!!!!!

do something which is would have quite a low probability of working out but would gurantee you a good life but would came at a very very price if it doesnt work out ie mess up your life completely forever
OR
would you rather take the path of a pretty crappy life but that is guranteed to be just that bit better than the one you would have had had you not taken the risk...
i hope this makes sense...

I wake latenight and study. But when I go to sleep I hear different kinds of noises around me which I know are not certainly true. But still a doubt prevails in my mind and I stay awake for some hours. I am a student and I need to concentrate my time towards studies. Please suggest me the best way to overcome my unnatural fear about false noises and darkness.

Some people take this so personally. It is not always about them. Sometimes people just do not mesh with others.

A family member has bi-polar (it seems). One minute this person is extremely happy, next violently yelling and saying things that don't make sense. For example, we say in a feel calm way, why are you yelling at me...and the person still screaming says, i am not yelling you are yelling, you are threatening me....and this will go on til we have to leave the house, because in the end the person wants to call the cops on us and we never even did or said anything. There are kids involved too...this person takes it out on one of them, so badly that this kid is too grown up for their age. How do we get help for this person, without them saying that we are ganging up on them and going crazy and retaliating with accusations that aren't true. I fear that this person will go beyond violent abusive yelling to something far worse to themselve or the family. This person is jeopardizing everything, everything and they are not aware that is isn't us, it is that person. Please help. Help.
