You had at least an ounce of motivation to write this question.
What are you not motivating yourself to do that you want to do?
When you think of the last thing that you really got motivated and actually did, what was different from now? When you are the most motivated, how does it feel in your body? What kinds of things motivate you the fastest? How good will you feel after you finish the thing you need to get done? Focus on how that feels and just dive in and get going.
Sometimes the hardest parts involved with GET YOURSELF MOTIVATED is just taking the first step. What is the first thing you have to do that you thought you needed motivation for? Maybe it's not really about motivation, but about planning. Make a plan, step by step, of HOW to accomplish the task you're thinking of. Then just do the first step. Maybe you'll see it's so easy you can just take a second step then, and so on.
When you're having sex, and you're moments away from your orgasm, how do you motivate yourself to keep going then? ;-D
The answer is within you, not us.

Ok, listen. Firstly, you have to know that it's fine to not feel 100% all the time. Without feeling crappy sometimes, the good times would not be as sweet. But I know that things get on top of you sometimes, it happens to all of us. Sometimes you might not even know why you are feeling low, there may be no apparent reason for it. This is natural.
So, first, accept it. Stop trying so hard to feel better for a sec. Just for a sec. Will you try something? Close the door in the room where you're at your computer. Maybe do this when people are out. Have a shower first, I always find a shower improves my mood by 5% for free! Ok, so shower, wear comfortable clothes (sweatpants?), close the door, turn off the phone. Unplug the phone from the wall if you like.

Have a look before you sign up, but basically it is an online program to help you think about the way you feel and think about ways to improve that. It's developed by the Australian National University so there's no funny business.
If you feel like trying it, give yourself time to go through the whole thing and see how you feel afterwards.
Good luck, you'll be fine, promise.

Sometimes we all feel this way...I sometimes wonder how I can motivate myself..because we get lost in our own issues sometimes...the best way to motivate yourself,..is to ask your friends is there anything you can do to help them on some project, or something..forgetting about yourself for a bit...and then you do a couple of things..you help them, you feel better because you are accomplishing things....and it gets your mind off of you..and you just might find it leads you to something motivating..good luck

Motivation to do what? If you don't feel like doing anything, even getting out of bed in the mornings...you need to see a doctor.
