This is an appendix question.
Okay well yesterday I began laughing and all, and my appendixes started hurting EXTREMELY bad. I coughed, they hurt. Today, it is a gazillion times worse. I told my mother about it, she doesn't know what to do. I showed her where it hurt really bad and she told me it was my appendix. What should I do? Should I go see a doctor? Or just wait for it to go away or get worse. I'm really worried.

It hurts really really bad and I do not think I can go on with it much longer.

My sister, who is only 8 years old, has chest pains on the ride side right under the collar bone when she runs. The precise area is right about where the pectoral muscle becomes thinner near the shoulder. It really bothers her, and she will go to see a doctor, but could you please let me know what it is?

Thanks

I was wondering if you get viruses (or feel as though you do) more often than the typical person. I get achy and (feel) feverish along with dizziness and stomach distress (more than usual as I have colitis, inflammation of the colon which is part of the large intestine) every couple of weeks.

I have been taking L-lysine as that is rumoured to help those with the herpes virus (though Not a cure) to have less outbreaks and thought that if I am getting a virus (not necessarily the herpes) that it would help, just fyi. Anyone else experience what feels like a virus every so often? The rheumatologist had said that he didn't believe that I have chronic fatigue syndrome which I actually don't agree with ;) Thank you for any help!

I've never had anything like it before.
It doesn't hurt if I sit normally but if I move in certain ways it'll hurt and when I've been lying down and start getting up it hurts
Any ideas why this is?

In my case this happened when a sadistic doctor tried for half an hour to realign a broken ankle without any pain killer.

She managed to make my cry, but I managed to kick her with the haelthy foot....

It happened some time ago, when I was 40.

Any suggestion will do; Just anything that is simple and effective. I need to get some sort of relief from this excruciating pain. Tell me what kind of medicine if you're suggesting I take that.

I can't eat. I can't drink. I can't move my mouth freely.

As some of you have read some of my questions you maybe somewhat aware of my circumstances.I have treatment resistant depression along with chronic H/A-the pain management specialist explains them as migraine-muscular tension, and fibromyalgia of the muscles of the head neck, and shoulders. I have been having fentyl 600mcg medicine that is absorbed inside the gum and inner cheek. I only have one doctor prescribing medication, have an agreement contract, the whole nine yards. Yesterday I had two lower jaw teeth extracted along with a bone graft. My oral surgeon suggested to continue with the fentyl medication 2 days after the surgery. Now my pain management has decided to only allow me to have hydrocodone 15mg. tabs 1 or 2 every 4-6 hrs.My tolerance to medication is high therefore my pain is not being controlled.Would you share with me your experience with chronic pain, the management, and the control that you receive.I feel that I will never get the pain controlled . HELP PLEASE

I had my appendix out about 3 months ago. The doctors found a bag of infectous fluid around appendix and they said my appendix was adhered to something.

Ever since about a month after the op I have had recurring abdominal pains. They are crampy and are mainly in the lower left and right abdo. However it hurts to touch/push around the lower left/right/ middle of stomach around belly button and going up my left abdominal side.

My doctors said that the appendix was a symptom of something and the bag had to come from somewhere.

I have had blood in stool as well as yellow mucus.

Does anyone know what causes the bags?? Or know what my symptoms mean??

Ive been having this really tight, very uncomfortable feeling in my throat, almost feeling like there is pressure being applied. The only relief I get is to force a belch or burp which comes from deep down and usually has a "hollow" sound. I guess its sort of "gassy" but what is the relation to my bothered throat. What is the cause of this and what can I do to not suffer from this anymore.

i get a headach on the left side of my head ( it's so painful sometimes) when i try to think of words to say during speaking and discussing , for this reason i get nervous when i participate in a discussion. is there something wrong with my brain? i didnt have this couple years ago.

i dont wanna go to doc cos i am afraid that i might diagnose with a serious illness that needs procedure.

I've had this sharp pain for a couple days, now. It's just to the right of my belly button. It's over a small area, maybe the size of a half-dollar. The severity of it depends of my positioning, i.e. how I sit/lie down, or how I breathe. If I breathe too shallow, or breathe with my stomach, instead of my chest (hope that makes sense), it makes it worse. It feels like it's deeper in the abdomen, not like it's on the surface.
I don't think it's gallbladder related, because it's not under my ribcage, or caused me to be nauseas, or radiated to my back area. It just remains in that one area.
I've had this before, but it has always gone away after I find a comfortable position, and fall asleep. This is the longest it's ever lasted.
That's about all the info I can think of.

Thanks for the input
