I'm pretty healthy for a person my age (40s)...but in the last six months, I've been completely stressed out! I think the stress or anxiety from work and stuff is turning into physical stuff. I have bad headaches(never did before), my teeth hurt (I think I grind them in the night), have heartburn and ulcer symptoms (including stomach upset...almost always at night...like it wakes me up), my throat almost always feels like I swallowed a marble and sometimes my tongue mysteriously feels 'forced' up to the roof of my mouth instead of just laying there like it should, and a lot of different aches and pains. It's making me miserable...short temper...sleepless nights...can't concentrate...seems like I'm falling a part. (Family M.D. can't seem to find anything obvious when I see her and everyone seems to think its the stress)Do stress or anxiety do these things to you? Or is this some wierd jungle disease or something!?!

I'm on day three of cutting down to one in the morning and i swear to god it hurts like a mother. It is 5am and i am wide awake because I'm so restless. I was going to try cutting down to zero, i'd like to, but i don't want to feel like this even one more day. I am strong enough to continue one in the morning indefinitely unless i'm feeling like this during an important event like band practice or meeting my parents. my legs hurt even though i'm eating bananas. the valiums help me rest but i can't drive. i have the runs. I have a headache. i'm very lazy half the time. I have to go back to work now and that means a trip to the doctor first which I was going to put off for an extra week. my girlfriend is very anti drug and she's been putting up with my *** leaving messes everywhere and eating everything in sight and yelling at her. she thinks i've been taking none because every day i have to lie to myself to even just take one. I know in my mind I have more in the cabinet.

I've had stabbing pain in my ears on and off since March. It got less frequent but now it's back to an every day occurrence. I also think I hear ringing every once in awhile, which is a new 'symptom'. Any ideas?

For two weeks, anytime I flex my toes, put on shoes and specifically lift my leg to put on pants, I get a weird tingling, sharp pain sensation in the joint of my left toes. What could cause this? (I have also been experiencing really weird issues with my feet, off and on, from the heel to the whole foot for the past year.

I fell through a roof 10 years ago, but nothing appeared to be wrong. I have had X-rays and the only thing shown is that my sciatica is 70% crushed by a vertebrae in my low back.

I still hike, play ball, work, etc....but my feet are alwys hurting, especially in the mornings and anytime I have sat for a while.

Any info would be helpful, as I have been to chiropractors, had MRI's, etc....massage is the only thing that keeps me at an even keel, but only if I go every week for 1 1/2 hour sessions.

Thanks!

The pain is on the back of my right heel. When it bothers me my heel on the back feels bruised. It also looks like there could be some inflamation there. I hurt my achilles tendon hiking about 9 months ago and felt like it healed but just recently it started bothering me again. I am just wondering if it could be because of the earlier injury or something different.

The T-12 vertebrae in my spine is 20 percent decompressed. . .aka....fractured. I was just wondering if that can be treated. My Doc said there was really nothing they could do, that I had to live with the pain. is that true?

i just turned 14 amd i am male. In christmas, my dad bought me basketball shoes that were size 8 1/2. I was only 13 1/2 and the top of the shoe had a half an inch distance between my toe. So i kept using that shoe until my feet grew 2 months later. my toe reached the end of the shoe but i kept wearing them. So my feet kept growing (i think) and it kinda felt tight but then it stop anoying me. In july, i realized that i was developing hammer toes, so i have been developing hammer toes for 4 months when the shoe stop fitting me. but it is not that severe cuz they are not curved enough and they can straighten very easily.

My q's are:
1. Is it true that if ur feet stop growing, ur whole body will stop growing too?
2. will hammer toes stop my feet from growing?
3. will i grow in height and in foot length?
4. what is the treatment for hammer toes?
5. will my toes straighten naturaly?
6. will i be ok?

I had 4 operations, and I was taking hydrocodone as needed from my old family doctor with no side effects. I moved to another state and nobody wants to prescribe it for me because they're afraid of being investigated (if they had this pain they'd prescribe it for themselves in 5 secs). There are pharmacies online that work with online physicians who review your medical records and issue a prescription AND medication. I did this (from WA) for a total cost of $300. Anyone know of a site that might be cheaper but offers same service? I don't have an addictive personality. I bet somebody I could stop using sugar for 2 years, and I won. 15 years ago I bet somebody I could quite smoking in 5 minutes and I won that bet too. I tried Ultram but it doesn't work as well. Lyrica & cymbalta made me sick. (I'm talking carpal tunnel surgery, ulnar nerve surgery, forearm tumor removal surgery, and hernia surgery all in one day kind of pain.) P.S. before this I never was sick in my life.

I'm feeling pain in the upper left part of my abdomen only. What could be the causes of this?
It doesn't really bother me though, i only feel it when i move(turn around), or sneeze.
Could it be related to the fact that i ate a full dinner yesterday?
