For two weeks, anytime I flex my toes, put on shoes and specifically lift my leg to put on pants, I get a weird tingling, sharp pain sensation in the joint of my left toes. What could cause this? (I have also been experiencing really weird issues with my feet, off and on, from the heel to the whole foot for the past year.

I fell through a roof 10 years ago, but nothing appeared to be wrong. I have had X-rays and the only thing shown is that my sciatica is 70% crushed by a vertebrae in my low back.

I still hike, play ball, work, etc....but my feet are alwys hurting, especially in the mornings and anytime I have sat for a while.

Any info would be helpful, as I have been to chiropractors, had MRI's, etc....massage is the only thing that keeps me at an even keel, but only if I go every week for 1 1/2 hour sessions.

Thanks!

Have you been checked for arthritis or nerve damage? Even without breaking you foot damage can be done. You could have a pinched nerve or vessel. Try seeing a specialist if possible.

feet pain -
I am having this pain on heel of left foot and went for x-ray and it showed bone spur around heel area. I am scheduled to go see podiatrist to have insole made.

Meanwhile, my mother told me to use hammer to hammer at the foot (where the pain is) for few times, it will heal. She had problem before and her chinese physician told her to do so. She only did it for few days and it healed completely!! I tried it and am recovering. Firstly, i pressed on the foot and find out the most painful part and then hammer the area and slowly increase and hammer harder each time. I did it for 2 days (twice a day) and alredy shown improvement. In fact, many people had tried this method and healed completely. Unless the feet problems is not caused by bone spur, then this person must seek doctor because feet problem could be a sgin of other illness like diabeties etc.

Some website on bone spur (heel) suggest that bone spur dont cause the pain but rather it is the problem of 'plantar fasciiti' where our culf muscle is too tight that cause the pain of the bottom part of our feet. But, personally, i have tried using their method to do their recommended exercise but my heel pain didnt go away and i had suffered for 3 months until i used the hammer method!!

Knuckles - If you have been wearing too tight a shoe, the friction casued between your knuckles and shoe could cause imflammation. If it persists, i think see a doctor and have x-ray done and treat it and make sure it is cured completely.

Take care and wish you well!

You could have gout. It seems to center at joints that are in the foot. I would suggest going on the Internet looking Gout up and see if that fits your symptom's. I would suggest start eating cherries. Another suggestion is that if you are over weight and stand for a very long time then sit. Your Tootsie could just have to much pressure on them and that you need to loose the excess weight to help them out. IF you are not then most like it is gout with an emphasis's of poor circulation. My hubby has a similar problem and he just moves his feet back & forth to loosen up his ankles before he gets out of bed. It helps a lot.

? Plantars Fasciitis
This is what it sounds like. Ask your doctor. I had it for a yr and a half and just had to wear really good footwear, not cheap. My doctor put me on Motrin 600mg for the pain (3 a day) I finally quit taking them and suffered. I know you can get surgery for this as well.

Turmeric will help
Please go see a chiropractor who uses an activator if possible - if there is not one around one who uses wedges or other (non bone cracking) techniques
