can Electroacupuncture worsen or improve disc disease?

hello guys my mother who is 80 is suffering from sciatica and disc pain caused by an acciden, i want to know if Electroacupuncture can worsen or improve her condition? thx for any advice

accupuncture has its ways, electroaccupuncture is new to me, but this ancient science has helped thousands if not millions, its unfortunately only trial and error that will tell the answer, good luck
