not old by any standards, however the joints don't always know that....alittle arthritis Id say, we all get it. There are tons of medications out there that will make you feel like your 20 again...well the joints anyway. Talk to your doctor,

I wouldn't just put it down to age until I've checked with a doctor. There are lots of reasons for those symptoms and a lot of different treatments you could try.
I want to stay young as long as possible (I'm 5 yrs your junior) and I'm not putting up with pain in my joints unless I know what it is and how to treat it.
I was having a lot of pain in my joints because I was selling on the floor of Dillards, not much room to move around, standing 6 hours/day. The dr. sent me to physical therapy for possible arthritis, but the therapists found it was bursitis. Much different diagnosis, a lot more you can do about it. I don't stand up a lot now, but if I did, I still know the exercises that put my hips in gear.

I'm 44 and the same. Plus I'm overweight soooo. Yeah, it really stinks getting old.
Doctor once said I had the bones of an 80 year old woman. Great. Some bs about calcium deposits in all my joints. Had surgeries on each shoulder and it has helped a lot. But who wants to go thru that for every joint? Ugh, life stinks sometimes.

I am almost 59 (male) and my joints, especially my hips, ache when I walk any distance.
Are you overweight? Have you sustained injuries? There are a lot of factors. You may have the beginnings of arthritis. Perhaps you should see a doctor.

Sounds like arthritis. Usually the knees go first but walking or exercise is the best medicine. Some people prefer riding a bike but I prefer walking. Once you get into relatively good shape walking easy then speed it up and do brisk walking.
