no cramps are cramps but with heat you lose more water and minerals in your body which can create cramps

I hate water, always have. When I started walking, I would get excruciating pains in the calves of my legs. It didn't take long before I discovered that if I don't drink 16-24 oz of water before I start walking, I can expect leg cramps. So I'm in agreeance with everyone else--DRINK WATER.

Yes. You get muscle cramps from getting dehydrated in the summer. Your electrolytes sodium, potassium & chloride get out whack & the muscles can cramp up.
