I need to quit smoking again. hate the fact that I actually enjoy it. I had quit for 2 yrs. and have quit a many of times for a couple of yrs. here and there. and laws are getting stricter and stricter because of the dangers for those who smoke and for those around them. I want to quit but forever this time. I unfortunately took back up the habit last April. It's Jan. now, would be so cool if I really quit smoking now, or atleast b4 april or march.

But ANYWAY, if u've ever smoked (and this ques.is really for those who are smoking or were former smoker's actually)--did you noticed how it makes ur face slightly drawn looking? and then when u quit after 2-3 months your face kinda plumped up again w/out not even the slightest bags under ur eyes?

I think I made the mistake of thinking that smoking was what was keeping me trim all these seasons, but have realized it was actually the 3.5-4.5 mile walks I was taking every single week that kept me skinny, not the awful stupid cigs.

How many of you do it? I hate them but am suffering sleep deprivation as a result of my neighbours. Can you hear the alarm clock? Terrified of sleeping in. Also, which kind are the best, where do you get them and how much do they cost?

hi,
Thesis: People should be concerned about the advertising their children are exposed to for three reasons: some advertising creates materialistic, illegal, and health behaviors.

Can anyone please give me supporting point for health behaviors?? or for the other reasons.

If you have something different about the three reason please tell me.

thanks a lot

I hope someone will tell me a way to allow me to write without causing any strain or blisters on my hand. I have been holding a pen the wrong way for 10+ years and it has been causing a blister on my 4th finger that has never gone off before. I have been trying to change but I am afraid it is still wrong and will instead cause a blister on my 3rd finger! Please help! Thanks! :D

I quit smoking on Sunday night at 10pm. Today is Thursday, 4 am (I work night shift) I have not been having the dreaded nictoine withdrawl symptoms as I feared...then it hit me. Is the nicotine still in my system? And how long does it take before it gets out? I heard it was about 3 days that it took to get completely out?

Hi, for the past month my both of my eyelids have been swollen. Its not the actualy eye lid, but the area right underneath the eye brow. I have recently been on dexedrine, or dextroamphetamine, and maybe that is the cause of this. Yet i have been on adderall for a few months before and have not experienced swollen eyes. Ive tried putting ice on my eyes and water and everything, yet the swelling will not go down at all!

How can i get rid of the swelling and wat is it that is causing the swelling?
Thanks!

It happens every night and sometimes during the day

2007-01-24 18:37:35 · 7 answers · asked by Anonymous

I have noticed many times throughout the day I get a build up of thick, white eye juice in the corners of my eyes close to my nose. It kind of looks like eye sleep that you get in the corner of your eye when you sleep. I have just noticed that every hour or two there's more built up so I have to clean it out again. Nothing else is wrong with my eyes, other than my vision is a little blurry.

I just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this and if it's something to worry about, or if it just happens.

Having visited several third-world countries and cleaned up from their doctors, I do not believe that Americans would be happy with socialized healthcare. Further, as someone who works very hard for my paycheck, I hate the idea of spending it on someone who will not work for themselves. And, as a healthcare worker, I hate the times I spend my effort on a patient knowing that I will pay for it through my taxes as well.
