It does sound like an infection of the conjunctiva (a good, old-fashioned "sty"). Whatever it is, if it hasn't cleared up or improved by now, see a doctor. You only get one set of eyes.

I have allergies and that is the first sign I can tell I am around something I am allergic to. My eyes will itch terribly, especially in the corners and they will water. Pay attention to your surroundings and what you are around when you notice it.
You may also have something stuck in it, like a piece of sand or dust. Try an eye wash, or flush it out with some visene. Also try a mild allergy medicine if you think that might be it.

I had this for 3 weeks, looked like i was crying all the time (both eyes) Doc gave me drops, did not work...then referred me to an eye specialist. In between, i went back to doc, the watering was driving me mad (no swelling, or redness) like you. He tried a different eye drop, and 1 day later, it had cleared up. I cancelled eye specialist, i have been fine ever since. Go to doc, if like me, one eye drop did not clear it, try another, it did the trick for me.....good luck!

Have you had your eye peeping thru' too many keyholes? I will be serious tho', you have possibly got a blaine or a stye. Go to the pharmacy and they will reccommend something for it.
