Water pills make you urinate much more often. Water is drained from the tissues of the body and pass through the bladder. In this way, the body gets rid of excessive water. Caution, if you take water pills, be sure to take a potassium pill along with it to replace the potassium lost.

It releases access water from the body! It makes you also pee alot more! I use water pills before and right after my period, cause that is when you gain the most water weight and it makes me really bloated! I use them so i can still feel normal during and after! They help me, i use the durex water weight tablets! Also the durex tablets are safe to use and you can buy at any drug store!

"water pill" is the common term for a diuretic, a type of medication that causes you to urinate more frequently. These medications are frequently prescribed for people w/ high blood pressure. Definitely not to be taken w/o a doc's OK -- can tamper w/ your potassium levels. Good luck!

Be careful with these things. I took them while trying to get into the military and it put my system out of whack for years. While I was on them I had to eat something every four hours or I would get really nauseous. Once I was off of them I had to eat when I first woke up or I would be nauseous. It took years before I could wake up and start my day without nausea if I didn't eat right away.
