its purple and hurts to walk on it.
Yesturday I rolled my ankle and when I did this somthing popped. Could I have tore my muscle? What should I do?

Hi, I have asked questions before, I have a spiral fracture of my tib and fib, i was in a full cast for 7 weeks, I am now in a below knee cast and was told I can now weight beare.
What exactly does this mean. can I walk as normal using my cruches.
I can't stand straight let alone walk, my cast is cut funny. it still covers my knee but is cut away at the back, this allows me to bend my knee. How long should I be like this before it comes off and I can walk normal.
The hospital did not give me much info, just left me to it and said see you in 5 weeks.
Has anyone else been in this situation. should I still take it easy.

I have lots of knee problems from playing lots of sports. The big two: and MCL thats still not healed from previous a previous tear (not complete tear...only slight) (from hockey and basketball on my left leg) and a patella that keeps dislocating (from badminton and basketball on my right). What can i do to fix this and prevent this? (Haha im thinking about amputating. hahah. jk jk jk)

Last summer at our family reunion,my sister was involved in an accident in the pool.My nephew jumped on top of her in the water,and she hit the bottom of the concrete pool with her head in her R temporal region.She says when she got out of the pool that she was disoriented for a short amount of time, but the swelling began immediately.It was huge!With all of the medical people in our family, not one person thought she needed to have a CT scan.They sat her on the couch with ice on her head.The rest of the day it seemed as though she was in a drunken stupor.The bruising startedabout 72 hours later.She had a moon face with raccoon eyes,bruising on the R side of her face,and bruising behind her right ear with severe headache lasting for about two weeks.I finally talked her into going to the ER.2 CT scans later and no fracture.Since she has had memory loss,H/A,muscle weakness,neck pain,and 3 hard nodules have appeared behind R ear. I can't convince her to call a neurologist.

I can still move it. It is still warm but it feels just as if it is 'defrosting' from the winter cold weather. I haven't knowingly injured it. Can anyone help please?

It is close to the thumb, but right online with the middle finger (in the palm). I can move all fingers w/o pain except for the middle finger. It seems sore. The cut was kinda deep. but I washed it over a tap water (sink), and used paper towels and pressed to stop the bleeding. I then put a butterfly stitch bandage and a big bandage (almost covering the palm, and a nice blood spot (size of about half a pinky nail), and it doesn't hurt as bad if I keep the hand half way closed. I stock paper and chemicals (laundry detergent, and stuff along those lines) at Wal-Mart. What should I do? I'm scheduled to work in 2.5 hours. Thanks...

for cheerleading i have to be able to do a left heel stretch and i cant do one at all. i stretch for a really long time and i do it over and over again but it never gets better. my right heel stretch is really good though so i dont get why i cant get my left to be as good. is there anything i can do other than stretching that would make it better?

I fractured my knee a month ago and I have been going to a orthepedic peacialist and getting x-rayed. He realized me knee cap ius knocked out of place and I have to visit an Orthepdic Children Surgeon. Is it scary. I need to know.

If a person gets a toenail removal, does the toe look ugly. Like nasty. Like you would wear sandals, if you had style. Can I get a picture or something. Please I dont wanna see ingrowns. i was riding my dirtbike and i came of a jump and landed it on the front wheel and the jolt from impact made my knee hurt so i limped inside. and it is not swollen but it is sensative to pressure and i can put very little amount of weight on it. I put ice on it then i bandaged it in a bent position with a ace bandage and i have been using crutches where ever i go. this happened last night what else sould i do. i do NOT take pills. and i am NOT going to go to the doctor if it is not broken!! and i dont think it is broken because if it was i would not be able to ANY weight on it. so what sould i do??

so i popped my patella in my left knee.. i was giving a mobilizar brace and cruthes to get around.. then i had a follow up appt w/ an ortho. who upgraded me to a patella brace to push the knee in and 6 weeks physical therapy to see if this helps. if this doesnt work then i will have to have surgery.. but my concern is say the therapy does help whats to say this will not happen again and how can i prevent more damage to the knee??.. the doc said the grooves which my knee sits on is not deep enough so its causes the knee to pull out.. i am big women 25yrs old with past history of knee injury to my r knee 10-12 yrs back.. i was suppost to have surgery on that knee but i was to scared and now im tring to do all i can to make things better(losing weight) because it still comes out once in a while(r knee) and i was told ive torn all ligaments inthe right knee and surgery is my best bet.. and i have been using a cane as well as the brace to get around but im getting pain in my foot .......

Hi i was wondering if I have a knee injury. Everytime i bend my knee alittle bit )and tense it I feel this very acute pain ( I wouldnt even call it a pain I would call it more like an irritation) inside my knee. It doesnt affect me when I play soccer but I'm wondering if it really is a knee injury and if i slightly pulled a ligament in there and i need to check it out. Also, I think i caused it when I was playing soccer in the house ( what kind of a soccer player doesnt? lol) and i know that when i was trying to pass it i bent my knee to far....it didnt hurt, but i know i kinda extended it too far...thanks in advance

P.S. It hasnt gotten worse, but will it if i dont check it out?...im going to play nationals southeastern regionals in like a week

anyone have an idea about how to get rid of cyatic nerve inflamation. I've done all kinds of inflamation pills, gone to doctor and was given excercises to help, which have done nothing. It is about 90 % better than I started but can't seem to get rid of it permantly. Any ideas would be a great help.It has been 4 weeks now.,

I was crouching down this morning to get something out from under my sink and felt an extremely intense pain from my tailbone up into my lower back. It was difficult to breath afterwards and I'm in immense pain when I try to bend down now. It even hurts when I walk. I have no basis of comparison as I've never had problems with my back but is it possible I put my back out? If so, what should I do? I've been using a heating pad and took some motrin.

Well 2 days ago i went to a waterpark and i got a HORRIBLE sunburn! Im burned everywhere and i have huge blisters on my back ( thats where i got burnded the most). Is there anything i could do to relive the pain? Im 14 by the way. Thanks......

Hey, my friend got stitches , but is complaining that their hand (where the stitch is) is being pulled to the left side.

See, they have a cut on the side of their wrist/palm and they said that when they try to move it their wrist gets pulled the opposite direction. Is that normal?
