It doesn't hurt unless I touch it, and then it is just tender. I never had this before. Will it just clear up?

Dont worry about you just bursted a blood vessel no that isnt bad thats why it hurts its repairing itself thats what the book told me that reading. so dont worry about it by tomorrow it wont hurt as much and take some asprin and get an ice pack and relax and close your eyes.

I've bumped my head pretty hard before and it turned into a permanent bump. I don't think you have anything to worry about if it's just tender. For mine to be permanent I needed a black and blue bruise with a bit of bleeding under the skin. I say if the swelling doesn't go down after a few days to go to the clinic to have them just take a look at it. Good luck!

Put ice on it...that will take the swelling down. Tell your parent or someone near you...if you have any mental confusion about your name, address, what time it is...go to the doctor. Ive had a head concussion & fractured skull...one sign is nausia. But you'd more then likely know it. Im talking HEADACHE! But swelling put's pressure on the brain...it's important to get the swelling doen. Take some IBUPROFIN, that also reduces swelling & inflamation.

OK, what you need to do is get a brick and drop it on your foot now. That way your head won't hurt so bad. OH, and take some asprin and eat an apple or something to that effect.
