I got bit by something on back of my leg few days ago thought it was a masquito but now it is swollen and is about size of a quarter and is filled with puss its red and warm to the touch and also hurts worse them my sunburn and seems to be getting worse

I put on a ring on my index finger last night and now I can't get it to come off. It only hurts my finger when I try to pull it off but when I leave it alone it doesn't hurt, so it's not cutting off circulation or anything. I tried vegetable oil, and soap and it's not coming off. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

My little sister was at my neighbors house and she was playing with 5 pound weights and on accident she dropped the weight on her left hand and it has been bleeding for a while. We gave her childrens motrin and she says it doesn't hurt anymore but she can feel it throbbing. Her hand is elevated on 3 pillows. the nail is falling off and she is only 6 so as you can imagine she has little pain tolerance other than taking her to the ER how can we get the bleeding to stop?Thanks for your help in advance!!

I don't have health insurance right now so I can't get this checked out but there are two bites with white ring around the one. Itchy so I scratched them now I have what appears to be broken blood vessels and a rash that has spread all over my leg.

Largest bite is over a foot long.

Today I burnt my finger on an elctric frying pan probably 2 -3 hours from now. I ran it under cold water and put a bandaid on it. Now a big blister has developed it's really long and kind of a greyish color. I have an ice pack on it right now and it bruns sooooooooooo badly when i take it off. what should i do i have to go back to school. Should i put pollysporin or something on it help immmedieatly please!!!

We brought in a pregnant stray that recently had kittens. She has become very territorial with babys around our other animals and often tries to start fights with our small dog. Earlier today when I was trying to stop a fight I got bit, it's a very small puncture wound about the size of pencil lead, didn't even bleed really... I would be embarressed to be concerned about this though I read 80% of cat bites become infected. My hand is also very sore when I try to make a fist and the wound site is very tender and a little swollen it seems.

Any vets/docs around here that could give me some advice?

i got my ears pierced about 5 weeks ago and today i had a softball game and my coach told me to take them out. i cudnt do it b.c they are screw on and i cudnt get them off. so i had 2 girls try for me. but one of their hands slipped and now its bleeding and they are both sore. what do i do????????????????????????????

I'm in the middle of writing a vampire book (not the usual kind), but need a little medical information. I'm stuck right now, and really need the answers! First; on what side of the neck is the carotid artery. Second; would a person bleed to death from a severe cut to it. Third; would the jugular vein be better? And if so, where is it located. Also, if you can provide links with good drawings of the carotid artery, and jugular vein, it would be appreciated. This is a serious inquiry for a book that I really am writing, and I would appreciate serious replies. And soon as I am stuck on just where the girl in my story should get bit. Please help! I was stung by a bee on Saturday. There was a small welt were I was stung, hurt like heck all day. Sunday I developed a saucer size red spot were the welt was. It's Tuesday and it still red, and the spot itches. There is no stinger stuck in the spot. How long will this red spot and itching last?

I am 14 years old and I sprained my wrist and I am currently using an ace bandage. It provides ligth support but It isn't really helping with the pain, because whenever I turn it,move it or even rub my hand over it it hurts. I want to buy a wrist brace but would it help my wrist not to hurt when I move it. The wrist is still tender and swollen but it may help with that too. I sprained it by jumping on the couch and landing on my hands and my right wrist bent too far back.

How much vitamin c is"too much" vitamin c???
Is it bad for you or can it hurt you if you take too much?
My family and I usually take I usually take it to shorten the duration of colds but its just a vitamin it cant hurt me right?
