First off take the ice pack off, that wll not help it. In fact it can harm it by limiting blood flow to the burn. There is nothing you can do to make it feel better at the moment, sorry to tell you. You could take a ibuprofen or somthing for the pain? Other than that, just leave it alone, and DO NOT pop the blister!! If it gets inflammed or looks infected go to the doctor for treatment. Hope it gets better soon.

PS don't put ANYTHING on it like others have suggested. No oils, potatos, fruits, vegatbles, etc. Just leave it alone and let it heal.

do u have vinegar! if you have a paper lunch bag or something along that line soaking the vinegar in the paper and applying it to the burn for a few mins. it takes the soreness out of it as far as the blister u have a 2nd degree burn. some kind of topical ointment aloe vera. hope this helps otherwise go to the local drugstore/pharmacy and let them look and offer some free advice only cost u the otc stuff. I know using a wet tea bag and letting it soak when having dental work done helps with the soreness as well probably due to the inflammation. ouch! hope this helped u

Find some one who has(if you don't have one) an aloe vera plant. See if they will let you cut off a small piece. This doesn't hurt the plant. The plant will seal itself from any injury. Peel back the leaf and carefully apply the gel directly to the burn area. It soothes the ache and if you use it every day until it disappears any scarring will disappear. Hospitals all over use aloe vera gel from the real plant to treat burn patients to ease the pain and help promote healing. It feels really cool when applied. Try it, you will not regret it.

Get a cloth soaked in really cold water and hold it there. Do not as someone has suggested put oil on it. That is an old wives tale and does not work. Any doctor or nurse will tell you to run all burns under cold water.

dont put any kind of oil on it it will not help. The aloe vera thing does work and also toothpaste works too for the pain but the best thing is go to your local pharmacy store and get burn spray or burn gel they are also found in first aid kits ask your school.

Slice up a raw potato, put it over the burn and wrap it around with a plastic wrap. It looks funny, but is will really keep the burn cool and help prevent longterm scarring. Plus, its easier to keep on than ice. It's great for sunburns too.

I burned my finger on the oven yesterday taking out a pizza, I should have called Dominos. Anyhow, keep the burn clean, and put neosporin on it. Works for me.

Hi, you need to take 3 tsp of apple cider vinegar, and three tsp of honey, two tsp water. Mix together, and bad on burn.Works great.. Also if you are starting to get a cold, use a cup of warm water instead of tsp and drink twice a day.
