It's a little late now for some of the following first aid measures but I'll list all of them in case someone else is interested for future reference.
Immediately flush the affected area with cool water to quickly cool the burn. Do not apply ice to the area as it can cause a cold injury which could be as bad or worse than the burn.
After cooling the burn gently wash the affected area with a soft cloth, cool water and soap. Don't scrub.
A reddened are indicates a minor burn and you may use a sunburn remedy that works for you.
Blisters larger than one inch (2.5cm) should be evaluated by a physician; so should any area that appears whitish, dry and "thickened".
A small blistered area should be protected by a loose, dry bandage. Antibiotic cream may be applied when the blister(s) begins to drain.
Keep the burned area as clean and dry as possible.
You don't say so but I'm guessing your burn falls into the "reddened" category. If this is the case, your itching is actually a painful response. The nerves in your legs transmit pain messages to your brain a little differently than other parts of your body. Like a sunburn, you want to avoid scratching and to this end you should use a sunburn treatment of your choice. Some people prefer a treatment like aloe or tea bags. A mild oral pain reliever will help too.

If it just itches, there isn't much to worry about. You can use some first-aid sprays, ointments, etc, to clean and protect the area. Whatever you do, don't scratch! I had some success with olive oil, too.
If the skin is peeling off, and the muscle layer is showing, then don't do anything more than keep it clean, then go see a doctor. (but I don't think you have this type of burns)
