What should I do? I burned it on a hot pan the burns up and down the middle of my ring finger.

Yep, cold water. That's about all you can do to help the pain. There are products out there that have an analgesic in it WITH aloe, they help too. Keep it dry and clean. A bubble might come next, don't pop it. Keep it covered and dry, then , the scab is going to come,keep it from getting into any dirty dish water and stuff like that.These things happen all the time. Most of the time they are 1st and 2nd degree burns. They hurt like crazy and anything that touches it is going to send your nerve endings screaming. So, be careful. If it swells, turns redder or develops pus, call your doctor immediately

Run your finger under cool water immediately to stop the burn. The longer you leave it, the worse it will get. If you have burn cream, put a little of that on it...or if not it's ok. You could also use aloe vera to help cool it.
Otherwise, be careful and use a pot holder!

if you have a aloe plant cut some off and put on it..takes burn right out...put some ice on it...I know that hurts..
